When we embrace a problem, we become bigger than the problem. If we fight it with our heads, the problem will become bigger and bigger and more and more monstrous. There is even an old saying pointing to this human tendency to battle difficulties in our heads... "Don't make a mountain out of a molehill." So next time life throws you a curve ball, make the decision to embrace it and let the act of embracing it, bring you to a seamless and organic solution emerging out of your own wisdom.

If you embrace your problem,

You get bigger than the problem.

If you fight the problem,

The problem stays bigger than you.

I want you to really pay attention to this.

Because if you understand these things,

You will be moving forward in integrity.

You guys hear this stuff with your heads,

And I want you to hear it with your heart.

If you have a problem,

If you embrace it,

You become bigger than the problem.

It's another way of saying basically surrender or acceptance.

So,

Lots of times the thing that slows you down the most is you fight with the problem with your head,

So nothing gets solved.

Watch yourself fight with your head,

Remind yourself it doesn't work,

Give it over to Amma,

The creator.

Like you guys,

To make real progress,

We have to be a little bit mad for God.

You have to be willing to really,

Really,

Really want it.

If you're kind of half-hearted or you've got a lot of attachments to other things,

It's not going to happen.

You're not going to make a lot of progress.

Embrace things.

So,

You know,

If somebody's making a lot of noise,

And you have to go speak to your neighbor about the noise,

Don't go,

Oh,

Should I do this,

Should I not?

Just embrace the whole situation.

Don't fight it,

Embrace it,

And let your embrace of the situation steer you into action to either complain or not.
