I came to yoga in 1994 when a debilitating back pain kept me from sleeping in my own bed for days. After my first class and my first child's pose, I was able to sleep normally again. I was sold on the healing power of yoga. I've practiced as a student since then and was lucky enough to join Susi Amendola's Yoga Teacher Certification program at Omaha Yoga and Bodywork Center in 2010. The training was the catalyst to change my life and focus on helping others find their balance.
