Hi everyone,

I hope everyone's having a great start to the new year.

I'm Pam Logan with Simplicity Life Coaching.

I wish for everyone on our beautiful planet to strive for clearing out our emotional clutter and to make way for a safe and green environment and a loving healthy lifestyle.

So let's start clearing out our hearts for love instead of clogging up our landfills and ruining our beautiful earth.

When you think about it,

Clutter in our minds really contributes to the material clutter in our living environment.

Clearing out clutter is a step-by-step process.

It is nothing more than the ego's security blanket.

Let's face it,

When we have everything around us we feel safe.

In our minds it stops us from feeling our feelings because we are so distracted by our jumbled up thoughts.

When we feel bad and depressed,

Society has taught us to go out and buy the latest and greatest new thing to uplift our spirits.

From beauty products to new clothing to every gadget there is,

We give in to this ideal that these things will uplift us.

So we go out and buy them and about two to three weeks into it of having our new stuff we're right back into the confusion in our minds with clutter and chatter.

Not only that but we have created more material things to muddle up our space.

I would say that the biggest problem today in the world is choices.

As choices are wonderful to have they are just as conflicting to the mind that is not free and quiet.

When you have a quiet mind it frees up your heart.

When your heart is free from the stress it is content.

Contentment in our lives is really what we're all trying to achieve.

Every thought and emotion has a corresponding sensation and is one connected system.

When you know deep down in your heart and soul what you really want and who you really are,

You can start making clearer and more rational choices.

Take out a piece of paper and write out the word clutter.

Just try this and think of as many words under each letter to the word clutter to describe it in your mind.

My choices are the C in clutter is for clog,

Chaos,

And commotion.

The L in clutter is for littering our landfills.

The U in clutter is upset,

Upheaval,

Unrest,

And uproar.

The first T in clutter is turmoil.

The second T in clutter is turbulence.

The E in clutter is emotional baggage,

Ego.

The R in clutter is rigid,

Ruckus,

Ruin.

So those are just some of my examples but once you get this written out put it on a piece of paper and put it on your mirror and refrigerator to remind yourself of this every day.

There are about,

Well there are as many rules for clutter as you can imagine,

But six good rules of clutter in thought are one,

When in doubt throw it out.

Two,

Use it or lose it.

Three,

Make things efficient.

Organize things when storing things.

Organize as you go for for instance.

Four,

Recycle or donate when can.

Five,

Make good use of a file cabinet.

Six,

Pick one room at a time and complete that room before moving on to the next.

This will allow you to concentrate on one room and not get so overwhelmed with every room.

So I hope some of my tips today can help.

I'm here just wanting to help our world and environment.

So I am on Facebook if you want to reach out and I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Take good care.

Love Pam.
