Allow your body to get as comfortable as possible.
Maybe that's sitting in your favorite chair,
Sitting cross-legged on a pillow on the floor,
Sitting on a park bench,
Lying on the floor,
Comforted with soft blankets,
Or perhaps lying in bed.
Whatever and wherever your body will feel most supported and relaxed.
As you make any last-minute adjustments to your surroundings and body,
Softly close down your eyes.
Take in a deep breath.
Feel your chest and belly expand on the in-breath,
And relax on the out-breath.
Imagine a white light floating a few inches above the top of your head,
The crown of your head.
This white light emanates love,
Peace,
Relaxation,
Healing,
And calm.
Imagine this white light and its energy flowing down over your head,
Onto your forehead,
Relaxing any tension that may be held there.
Slowly,
This white light moves down to your eyes,
Releasing,
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes,
Taking in a deep breath.
As you breathe in,
The white light moves down to your jaw,
Allowing you to unclench your jaw with ease,
Relaxing the muscles of the mouth,
And allowing the tongue to rest softly in the mouth.
As you breathe out,
The white light energy moves down your neck and throat area,
Allowing for space and relaxation.
Moving down to your shoulders and upper back,
A place where a lot of stress and tension can form and be held and stored,
Allow the white light to wash over your shoulders slowly,
Like a warm waterfall.
This light energy washes away any stress and tension,
Making its way down your arms and leaving,
Releasing through your hands and fingertips.
Do you feel that?
Can you sense the buzzing or tingling in your hands,
Indicating the stress and tension are leaving your body?
If it feels comfortable,
Give your hands and wrists a little wiggle or stretch,
Helping to release the stress and tension.
Perhaps wiggle your fingers,
Make a fist,
And relax your fingers and hands.
Taking in a deep breath,
Gradually letting it out,
Sensing the white light energy in your chest area,
Wrapping itself around your heart.
Allow the light energy to softly open your heart to receiving.
If it feels comfortable,
You may place one or both hands over your heart.
Can you feel the white light energy and softness of your opening heart?
Your heart is safe.
The white light is protecting it.
It is safe to allow your heart to open.
When you feel ready and when it feels right,
You may return your hand or hands to your lap or by your side.
Wherever they are most comfortable and relaxed.
The white light energy moves its way down over the belly,
The abdomen,
Clearing away any negative or stuck energy.
The white light is acting like a magnet,
Attracting any unwanted energy held inside the body.
As the white light energy continues making its way down over your hips,
Thighs,
Knees,
Hips,
Shins,
And down to your ankles,
Eventually this white light energy ends up at your feet and your toes.
Allow it to hang out here for a moment,
To hover.
Allow the light to gather all the energy it collected from your torso and legs as it prepares to release it through your toes.
Keep breathing in and out slowly,
Allowing the white light energy to do its work.
Just like with your fingers,
Can you feel the negative stuck energy leaving your toes?
Perhaps they are tingling or buzzing,
Or even a slight burn or ache can be felt.
Keep breathing in and out.
You are safe and it is ok to let go of this energy.
If it feels comfortable,
Give your toes a little wiggle and maybe your feet a little stretch from the ankle area.
Allow all the energy to be released.
Let it go.
It's ok.
You are safe to let it go.
Notice how your body feels from head to toe,
Staying with these feelings and sensations for a little while.
You've just given yourself,
Your mind,
And your body the gift of rest,
Relaxation,
And release.
Honor yourself,
And honor your body.
You've done great work.
