Let's do something that'll make a difference.
Now I'm very much a teacher,
A person of presence that likes being in the moment and doing what naturally comes up.
That's what works for me.
Like my best adventures are in the car without a destination and I end up at the perfect coffee house on the perfect mountain road.
You know it just works that way but when it comes to planning I'm working on that.
So let's just work with what I do best and be in the moment and then I'll come up with a name and descriptor for what we do to see for you to see if it's a match for you.
So what's come up for me is just sunflower medicine.
Now if you think about the sunflower they're not totally unique but they're so big that it's easier to see that they orient themselves to the Sun.
There's a great quote that says something like orient yourself to the Sun so that the shadows of life fall behind you.
Now that's a great metaphor.
What Sun do we want to orient ourselves to?
Now there's the physical Sun,
There's the light within us,
There's the light within life.
I say all of it.
Yeah.
So repeat after me if you want to start doing this in a way that's helpful,
Healthy,
And on point.
And I don't know the affirmation before I say it otherwise I would say it for you first.
So here we go.
Say this out loud or in your heart.
You can always have a little bit of skepticism and affirm it at the end.
So here we go.
I choose to allow myself to blissfully align with the love within life and the love within myself in an easeful,
Uplifting,
Serving,
Righteous,
And harmonious way.
Absolute love.
Nice.
Now the next affirmation.
I allow this new orientation to nurture me,
To refine my focus,
To allow to allow my to blossom,
To allow my heart to heal,
To allow my mind to be more clear,
To allow for more vitality,
And beyond in a way that's righteously serving and aligned with my high to highest good.
Absolute love.
Now say the love of fun.
Absolute love.
Yes.
The love of fun just anchored that because you know a lot of these spiritual traditions teach you to be so serious.
And like a playful adolescent has more joy than a serious yogi sometimes.
It doesn't mean that they have more of this or that or the other,
But they have more joy.
And you got to have a little fun in your life.
And that little bit of fun like there's that study that says if you're playful you can manifest synaptic plasticity and change like 500 times faster than if you're not.
So have fun.
Be playful.
That's the message for today.
Be like the sunflower.
You've oriented yourself to light within and a light within life.
And let this be a lesson on how this can be serving.
It doesn't mean you don't pay attention to the shadow.
It doesn't mean you don't heed warnings,
But it means you orient yourself to the light.
Nice.
Enjoy.
