Journey to Inner Peace.

The Wisdom of the Tree.

Meditation.

I invite you to find a quiet place to begin this journey.

You can sit or lie down.

I invite you to close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Whatever feels comfortable for you.

Today we will take a journey towards inner peace.

Go ahead and take a deep breath in and out.

With each breath,

Feel the air go into each part of your body.

Feel your breath start to go towards your feet.

Move towards your legs,

Your hips,

Through your belly,

To your chest,

To your arms,

To your hands,

Your neck,

And finally your face.

Feel your body begin to relax.

Picture yourself in a meadow.

Notice the blades of grass,

Perhaps some flowers too.

Notice the trees in the distance.

Feel the breeze on your face.

Observe the blades of grass waving from side to side.

Feel the sun beat down on your face.

As you look around the meadow,

You notice a huge tree,

One you've never seen before.

Curious,

You begin to walk towards the tree.

As you walk towards the tree,

Your hands by your side,

You touch the blades of grass.

Each time you walk and your hands move,

You feel the blades of grass and they feel like feathers.

You giggle to yourself because it tickles.

As you walk towards the tree,

You start to feel at peace.

You stop in front of the tree.

You observe the height of the tree.

You put your hand on the trunk of the tree,

Recognizing its strength.

You see the roots of the tree,

Recognizing that it's grounded into the earth.

You look up at the branches and see how they are holding on to the leaves.

The leaves are green and full of life.

They are all so different.

If you'd like,

Take a seat underneath the tree.

Put your back up against the trunk.

Feel the trunk against your back.

The trunk is holding you up,

Letting you know everything is going to be okay.

I invite you to place your hand on your heart.

Repeat after me,

Out loud or quietly to yourself.

I am beauty.

I am strength.

I am life.

I am peace.

Take the time to reflect on these words.

Let them flow within you.

Let's repeat the words one more time.

I am beauty.

I am strength.

I am life.

I am peace.

Feel the ground of the earth underneath you.

Feel the strength of the tree trunk behind you.

See the branches reach out,

Offering support and connection.

Hear the leaves in the wind whisper words of calm and wisdom.

Take this time to take a few more breaths in and out.

When you are ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Gently stretch your body and take a final breath.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying a sense of inner peace and calm with you for the rest of the day.

I welcome you back anytime you wish to reconnect with your inner peace.

I look forward to guiding you through many more mindful moments in the future.

Thank you.
