Hello and welcome to this new meditation.

This is a follow up to the cheeky monkey meditation that you can find on Inside Timer.

This new meditation is specifically targeted to young children that are not used to meditation.

So the purpose is to make this moment of calm as accessible as possible to anyone without any experience in meditating or taking up just a quiet time.

So let's start and let's start first by relaxing as usual and the way to do that is to focus on our in-breath and out-breath.

So we're going to take three deep inhales into our belly and three deep exhales and trying to inflate the tummy as much as comfortable.

And we can start by relaxing our body,

Sitting comfortably on either the chair,

The mat,

The sofa or if it's suitable on your parents' lap.

And relaxing the body from the tip of the head to the toes,

To the feet.

And going through the head and the face,

Shoulders,

Knees and toes,

Arms,

Bellies,

Tummy,

The back,

The hips and then the legs,

The knees,

Shins and the feet.

And the toes from the wriggly little toe to the big toe.

And then let's move into the meditation.

Breathing in,

I am cheeky.

Breathing out,

I am a monkey.

In cheeky,

Out monkey.

Next.

Next.

Next.

And next.

Breathing in,

I love to play.

Breathing out,

I love cuddles.

In,

Play,

Out,

Cuddles.

Breathing in,

I love to play.

And last one.

.

.

Breathing in,

I am love.

Breathing out,

I am free.

In,

Love.

Out,

Free.

Out,

Free.

And that's the end.

Thank you for taking this meditation.

Again,

Congratulate yourself,

Thank yourself for taking this time to look after yourself and your wellbeing.

And I wish you a fantastic day.

Namaste.
