The soul is the place where our truest self resides. We can live into this place here and now and creative, intuitive expression is one connective route to it. Join me in this meditation to engage imagination and take a journey to our future self, engage with our past self, and become our more present self.

This is the art of the soul,

To harvest your deeper life from all the seasons of your experience.

Welcome to this creative meditation from before the brush.

I'm Patricia Baldwin-Segabrook,

And if you are here and you can connect even a bit to the quote above from John O'Donohue,

Then you,

My dear,

Are a conscientious part of this creative world.

Welcome.

Integration of experience,

Character,

Knowledge,

And mystery are necessary.

In each life,

And in the spaces where multiple lives overlap,

This integration brings about the fullest potential to grow and expand to our highest possibilities.

In this creative meditation,

We're going to go on a journey,

One into the imagination that with intention will speak into reality through our pen or brush.

It is a time travel of sorts to set our feet firmly in the present,

Take our minds to the place of discovery in the future,

And wrap it all up in an envisioning of the past,

Which holds it all together.

Close your eyes and join me.

Vision your this journey we go on together and empower your present creative self into your future.

You are 110 years old.

The time machine has just been invented that will transport you back to the day you first picked up the paintbrush.

You have all the wisdom of having lived and all of your rich life experiences.

And you've been given a few minutes to spend with your younger,

Less experienced self.

What do you say as you sit across from one another?

What advice do you impart to this just beginning self of the past?

As the music plays and the thoughts tumble,

Let us smile curl the edges of your lips and begin to crease your eyes.

Explore the joys of potentiality,

Peace of a life well lived,

And the enraptured opportunity you will have lived through that now you get to speak back to this younger self.

Imagine,

Envision,

Expand,

Embrace.

This is your life.

Listen to it and share it back to the one who can grow and expand from it the most,

Your self.

As you let the imaginary you intend to impart to this younger self form,

Paint it out,

Write it out.

Tell the story of your journey to the self with light,

Color,

Text,

Texture.

Let the music move you,

The visionary take you,

And let the story of a fully lived potential play out across your canvas,

Paper,

Or surface.

This musical play for three minutes,

Dig in,

Go deep,

Go wide.

I'll keep track of the time.

You dive in and travel to the best of yourself past,

Present,

Future,

And enmesh them all in your best creative visionary.

Explore,

Believe,

Unfold,

And go.

Let the music move you,

The visionary take you,

And let the story of a fully lived potential play out across your canvas,

Paper,

Or surface.

If your story is still playing,

Continue it.

If it has fulfilled itself in color or text,

Step back and look at what it's saying.

Say thank you to your gift of imagination and visionary and continue the story.

Take your life to the place it can go,

To the place it is meant to go,

As you live the passion that is alive in you.

Thank you for coming along.

I look forward to more and to perhaps maybe seeing yourself too,

Somewhere down the line,

Living into the future you have painted.

Remember,

We're not just standing around.

We are standing around with our arms wide open.

I love this! The pacing is a bit fast for me so I paused the recording several times so my thoughts could have a chance to bubble up. I will listen again 💜
