Welcome,

Dear Jedi,

To today's Jedi meditation session.

For this exercise,

Please get into a comfortable position,

Whether sitting,

Standing,

Or laying down.

The main thing is to have your airway open,

Back straight.

While you want to relax the body during this time,

You want to be able to breathe naturally and comfortably.

So before we begin this exercise,

I want you to just take a few deep breaths at your own pace and at what's comfortable to you.

When you breathe in,

Just breathe all in that good oxygen,

Breathe in the energy of the universe.

Feel the force as you breathe in.

And as you breathe out,

Just let everything go.

Relax,

Just relax the body.

And breathe in.

And as you breathe out,

Kind of shake out that tension.

Just go of those extra burdens.

Relax the shoulders,

Relax your face.

Allow the jaw muscles to loosen,

Sink into your seats,

Bed,

Sofa,

Or allow yourself to feel like you are melting into that floor.

Simply relax as you breathe out.

And if you need to pause this and take a few more deep breaths to kind of just relax and let go,

You may do so.

Now we will continue to just breathe naturally and comfortably as we reflect on the ideas of our path and how they play into life,

Especially when we are faced with larger concerns.

Let us begin.

One of the core ideals in the Jedi way is acceptance is peace.

Accepting our place within the universe and the world.

Accepting that we are a singular person connected to the whole.

We are part of this universe.

We are part of this world.

And yet the vessel we travel in only has so much capability.

It is not our place to shoulder the entire world.

It is not our place to be the sole heir of the entire universe.

We share this space and time with the energy of so many other living creatures.

We are one part of a greater whole.

In this,

It is our duty as Jedi to focus on the here and now.

Allowing ourselves to get caught up and carried away in the flow of the very large picture of the bigger picture extends us beyond our means.

Feeling powerless is an issue of focus.

We need to redirect our focus to where we are and what we can do.

The little things in our lives can have great impact.

And we need to remember the beauty of sticking with simplicity.

Of staying within the moment,

Within our area,

Within this vessel.

The universe ebbs and flows.

The world goes through good times and bad times.

Society rises,

Falls,

Rises again.

Life faces challenges and struggles on a daily basis.

We ride this flow of the universe,

Enjoying the highs and working through and helping others through the lows.

In this moment,

Right now,

Is about you and just breathing.

You are here.

You are good.

And you are going to make it through this.

It is not your burden to save the world.

You are one being that is a part of the whole.

We each play our part in the location we are at.

We each play our part with the abilities and capabilities that we have together.

Our small contributions network across the entire world.

And in this,

We effect change on a global scale.

But it is not our responsibility to try to save everything and save everyone.

That is the impossible task.

That is beyond who we are and what we are capable of.

Instead,

Focus on who you can make laugh.

Focus on who you can help out.

And most importantly,

Focus on just centering yourself.

Bringing your attention as you breathe in to the center of your body.

And then breathing out that tension and worry.

Allow yourself the calm and peace that resides within you.

Allow yourself to be reminded of the calm and peace that still exists within this world.

There is plenty of peace and serenity to be found in this universe,

Even amongst times of struggle and chaos.

It is our place to feel and embody this peace.

So take a few moments and just breathe.

Be here within the now.

Be a part of this moment.

Feel the world around you.

The breeze on your skin.

The support of your bed,

Chair or floor.

Just feel and be within this moment.

We will feel tested.

We will feel tired.

We will feel stressed.

But we acknowledge these feelings,

Breathe them in.

And then we breathe them out.

We let them go.

They are not serving us at this time.

Instead,

We are simply going to take this moment to relax and center ourselves.

And then we will get back to addressing the world within our capabilities with the things that we know we can do.

We can talk to our children.

We can enjoy the company of our loved ones.

We can appreciate the time to enjoy a good book.

We can appreciate the time to enjoy a meditation session.

This is simply about getting back to basics and focusing on what we can do rather than what we cannot.

It is not about what is beyond our control,

But what we can adjust and flow to within the moment.

So center yourself here.

And now as you breathe in,

Find that center within yourself,

That ocean of calm within the self.

And simply be there.

That is your only task right now.

Be within yourself.

You are a part of this amazing universe.

This flow of energy by being within yourself.

You are being within the universe in this vast sea of calming energy.

Enjoy the moment.

Enjoy the time.

The role of the Jedi is not to shoulder the burden of an entire planet,

But to focus within our own world,

Our personal world and what we can do to brighten that day.

So simply breathe.

Just breathe.

Be here within this moment.

So simply breathe.
