This Meditation is created for the Ekata Martial Arts Dragon Class. It is a standard version of the Meditation I guide my students through before we begin our Martial Arts training class (Jeet Kune Do). It has music I'd call Blade Runner like and as well as male vocals (my own) focusing on breathing and getting our minds right for training.

Transcript

Sit comfortably.

Eyes closed.

Focus on your breathing.

Just breathe.

That is the only thing you have to worry about right now.

A martial artist does not fight from rage.

We move from presence.

Let your breath slow.

Let your thoughts settle.

Feel the ground.

Feel your weight.

You are here.

Not in the past.

Not in the future.

Here.

Be here.

This is not a contest.

This is a conversation between body and spirit.

Between instinct and intention.

You are not here to dominate.

You are not here to win.

You are here to train.

To sharpen.

To refine.

To become.

Be water.

Be ready.

Just breathe.

Inhale calm.

Exhale stress.

Inhale awareness.

Exhale fear.

Inhale focus.

Exhale doubt.

Let it all go.

You are not here to prove.

You are here to be.

Your mind is ready.

Your spirit is aligned.

Now is the time to train.

To flow.

To be water.
