Closing your eyes now.
Simply being here in this moment.
Noticing your breath come in and out.
Dropping all your to-do's.
Dropping the agenda.
And laying your hopes,
Your fears,
Your wishes,
Everything down.
Constantly pushing,
Forcing.
And showing up can be exhausting.
You don't need to earn love.
You don't need to pretend to be someone you're not.
You can just in this moment.
For just today.
Lay it all down.
Sometimes the hardest thing we can do is accept ourselves for who we are in this moment.
Accept where we are.
And accept the situation that we are in.
Carrying that load can be so exhausting.
That feeling like you want to cry but you can't.
That feeling like you want to fight but you can't.
And that feeling like you want to give up,
But you can't.
So in this moment,
Or giving it all up.
The resisting.
The fighting.
The desires.
Simply being here.
Looking at yourself through a lens of love.
Of compassion.
Of kindness.
The same compassion you extend to others,
Extending to yourself in this moment.
Nothing needs to change.
Nothing needs to happen.
It's simply being here and now.
With your breath.
But sometimes it feels as though the only thing you can control is your breath.
Now taking a deep inhale in from the nose.
Holding.
And exhaling slowly from the mouth.
Taking this love,
Compassion,
And kindness towards yourself and to the rest of your day.
