You must be exhausted.

Why don't you lay down like a baby?

I know you feel small and weak.

I know you are overwhelmed by all the sensations,

The fatigue,

The tiredness,

The other symptoms.

Do you remember that time when you were a baby?

Maybe the memory is vague inside of you.

Although you were weak and small,

You actually had a superpower.

Something so magnetic that everyone loved you.

Everyone wanted to hold you.

Because all you did was to surrender.

You slept 16 hours a day or even more.

And whenever you felt something,

Something as heavy as fatigue,

All you could do was to surrender.

Maybe you cried for a while.

But that eventually became too exhausting as well.

You had to surrender.

Crawl up on your side.

Feel how you are squashed in the bed.

Breathe like a baby.

Feel how heavy your body is.

Feel all the symptoms inside of you.

Feel the heaviness.

You can't fight it any longer.

Surrender.

Make the symptoms bigger by each breath that you take.

Let the fatigue come over you.

Make it bigger.

You can't fight it.

Allow it.

Allow it completely.

Make it bigger by each breath that you take.

Can you feel how heavy you are?

Rest.

Rest like a baby.

You don't have to do anything.

You can't fight it.

You can't win from it that way.

Can you make yourself heavier by each breath that you take?

No pressure.

Your body knows how to do this.

Relax your legs.

Remove all the tension from your arms.

Relax your neck and head.

Let all the muscles in your face loose.

There is not a single muscle that you can use.

Breathe like a baby,

Squashed to the bed.

How does it feel when the symptoms have space?

Rest like a baby.

Give up the struggle.

Too tired to open your eyes.

Too tired to fight any sensation.

Life carries you.

The only thing you have to do goes automatically.

You are carried by your own breath.

Getting heavier by the minute.

You don't have to do anything.

You don't even have to get up.

You don't have to prove that you're anything to anybody.

It's the superpower from a baby.

Reintegrate this knowledge.

And allow everything to happen.

Maybe over time you have adopted some limited belief systems.

That you need to fight,

Or that it is cool to be in a state of resistance.

That you need to show your worthiness to the outside world.

Forget about it.

Just an illusion.

You are so welcome on this planet.

And the only thing you have to do goes automatically.

Can you focus on this?

Let it happen.

No need to control your breath.

Let it happen.

And rest like a baby.

Take your time.

You can sleep or rest as long as you want.

Do you feel the heaviness by now?

Or being carried by each breath?

You feel so heavy.

Squashed into your own bed.

Maybe your symptoms have become bigger.

Allow it.

You can't fight it.

You can't run from it.

You are so beautiful.

Sink into your bed.

Rest.

Let it happen.

So beautiful when you are so peacefully.

Life is watching over you.

And it really enjoys what it is seeing.

What a beautiful rest.

Sinking deeper and deeper into your bed.

How soft does your mattress feel?

It is so beautiful that you are there.

Rest.

Time for bed.

You you you

Thank you for this very relaxing and soothing meditation. I loved the imagery of being a baby πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’— My only suggestion as a native English speaker would be to avoid the word "squashed". Being "squashed" is generally an unpleasant sensation that you would wish to avoid. It's a situation where you don't have enough room (and in this scenario it made me feel there was insufficient room to move or to breathe). Perhaps "snuggled up in bed" instead ? πŸ€—
