Welcome to this meditation that will give you the space to release who you have been.
Make peace with your past and step forward into the person that you hope to become.
So as we begin,
Simply take some mindful,
Deep,
Intentional breaths.
Slowly inhale and slowly exhale.
Allowing you to become conscious of your breath.
Moving forward,
As you inhale and reach the top of your breath,
Squeeze your muscles,
Pinch the tension in your body,
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself to release any stress,
Worry,
Or tension that you're carrying into this meditation.
And just do this a few times,
Inhaling,
Squeezing the tension in your body,
In your face,
Exhaling and allowing that to be released.
And next you can return to your mindful and intentional breath.
Slowly in and slowly out.
And as you settle into that breath,
I'm going to count down from 10.
And as we reach the bottom of that countdown,
We will step into your past and begin to make peace with it.

Allowing your body to sink deeper into your chair or your bed,
8,
7,
6,
Sinking deeper still,
5,
4,
3,
2,
And 1.
I want your heart to guide you to a moment from your childhood.
See your current self standing in front of your childhood self.
Allow your heart to guide you to an appropriate age,
Something that feels right to you,
That resembles your childhood.
I want you to give this younger you a big hug.
Slowly embrace them,
Squeeze them.
And as you do,
Forgive them for any mistakes they may have made.
Honor and thank them for any hard work they've done or any growth they've experienced.
Just let them know,
This younger version of you,
Let them know that you love them.
Hold this embrace for three more seconds,

Loving them more,
2,
Forgiving them more,
And 1.
Now allow your mind and your heart to find a version of you as a young adult.
Don't overthink it.
Simply float to a time of your life as a young adult that feels significant to you.
And as you stand before them,
Give them the same big hug.
And as you embrace them,
Forgive them for any mistakes they made,
Relationships they stayed in when they shouldn't have,
People that they've wronged,
Missteps in their career.
Give them the same big hug.
Tell them that you are proud of them for any growth they have experienced,
Any changes they made for the best of them and for you,
And let them know that they are loved.
Hold this embrace for three more seconds,

Loving them more and more,

Loving them more and more,
And 1.
Moving forward,
Allow your heart and mind to be guided to a vision of current you standing in the mirror.
And as you stand before yourself,
Forgive yourself for mistakes that you've made,
For bets that went wrong,
For paths that you took that weren't for you.
Honor and appreciate and show respect for the growth that you've experienced,
The quality decisions that you've made,
And the expansion that you've created in your life.
And lastly,
Let yourself know that you are loved,
That you are appreciated.
Continue to look into your own eyes for three more seconds,

And one.
Just returning back to that deep mindful breath,
Becoming aware of the air flowing through your nostrils,
Becoming aware of your body filling with air,
And becoming aware of your body deflating as you exhale.
And now that you have made peace,
That you have forgiven,
That you have loved and acknowledged all pieces of you,
I want your mind and your heart to travel forward,
To travel forward a year,
5 years,
10 years,
Whatever timeline feels appropriate to you,
That feels right to you.
And as you land where you land,
Acknowledge that you are exactly where you wanted to be.
That you are doing exactly what you want to do.
That you are the person that you hoped to become.
That all is well,
And that you are sitting in a moment of pure gratitude for all the blessings,
For all the achievements,
For all the miracles that have occurred in this time.
Let's take this in for a moment.
Take note of how this feels.
And know that this is for you,
That you get to have all that you desire.
And know that now that you have made peace with your past,
That your future is limitless.
I'm going to count down from 5,
And in these 5 seconds,
Just soak in the energy of having all that you want,
Experiencing everything you desire,
And knowing that you are worthy of every single bit of it.

You can begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers,
Crane your neck a bit,

And as we wake up our body and come back to the room in which we began,
Give yourself a moment to sit with this feeling and know that it is yours.
