Here is a very quiet meditation using the breath as a focus. I have left plenty of space between the words. Even though this is just five minutes long, there is plenty of silence to find peace and relaxation. Remember, a single breath can be an entire meditation! I hope you enjoy it! Cheers, Nicholas

Transcript

Just use this short meditation to calm the mind by bringing all of your attention to the sounds,

The words and particularly your breath as it just naturally goes in and out.

Right now just tune into that natural rhythm of your own breathing.

Notice all there is to notice about it.

Each in-breath causes an expansion of your lungs,

Your chest and even you can notice how when you truly relax into your breathing that your belly expands.

And then with each out-breath the rhythm causes a retraction.

Each and every breath causes this expansion and contraction of your body and all day every day,

Every minute.

The natural rhythm of your breathing happens all by itself.

But right now you are just bringing your attention to that.

If thoughts come in just observe them as if on the outside and immediately let them go and once again bring your attention back to the beautiful rhythm of your breathing.

Just let the speed and pace that happens naturally for you.

Soon the sounds will fade away but you can come back and repeat this meditation or let it continue for as long as you want or need.

A lovely, calming, soothing voice in this short meditation which helped me take an insightful pause, a micro-moment, in the middle of my busy day along with a gentle reminder to focus on my breath......this really helped me anchor and come back to the present moment .....thank you 🙏 🌈🙏
