Welcome to this guided meditation for kids.

It's called gentle strength,

The wisdom of the elephant.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Close your eyes.

Put one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Can you imagine your breath going up and down like a spiral?

Take one more deep breath in and imagine your breath going up and down in circles.

Imagine standing in a vast golden savanna.

The warm Sun touches your skin and in the distance a majestic elephant moves slowly,

Powerfully,

Gracefully.

The elephant carries the wisdom of the earth.

Strong,

Steady,

Deeply rooted in history.

The elephant is ancient and it has survived so many centuries because of its gentle strength,

Resilience and deep wisdom.

You walk beside the elephant,

Feeling the ground firm beneath you,

Your feet.

You walk beside her,

Feeling the ground firm beneath your feet.

With every step you feel stronger,

Grounded,

Unshakable.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs like the elephant fills hers before releasing a mighty exhale.

Let go of any weight,

Any worry.

The elephant gently places her trunk on your shoulder,

Reminding you,

You are strong,

You are wise,

You are deeply connected to all who came before you.

Repeat softly,

I am grounded,

I am wise,

I walk with strength and grace.
