Greetings.

I'm glad you're here.

I'm astrologer Natha Perkins.

Go ahead and get settled in your seat.

Make sure that your physical body is supported.

Give it any stretch that it needs.

Shake any tense muscles out.

Begin to take some deep breaths into your belly.

And as you do,

Pay attention to the way that it feels in your nervous system to consciously take in breath and consciously expel it.

This should have a relaxing sensation on your nervous system.

This might be the first time all day that you have given any attention to your breath.

And we use the breath to access the physical body to relax the nervous system so that the divine wisdom that you need can flow through.

This is a new moon meditation.

You can listen to it any time there is a new moon near to help you get settled,

To help you deepen into your intentions for this potent time every month.

Continue to breathe as you listen to my words.

And if possible,

Leave a good portion of your attention on your breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

If there are any tense places in your physical body,

Knotted muscles,

Contractions,

Give those places some breath as well.

Astrologically speaking,

A new moon is a very potent time for manifestation.

This is when the moon is dark.

We cannot see the moon in the sky from Earth.

And the moon is representative of your deepest emotions,

The way that things have made you feel,

The impact on your physical body,

On your mental health,

And even on your soul.

You are a very sensitive person.

When the moon is new,

This is a time of new beginnings.

It marks the start of a new lunar cycle.

It is your invitation to initiate and set intentions.

As you're breathing,

Find a spot in your body that wants your attention.

You might find this spot by following something that feels painful or tight.

Or you might find it by following something that feels excited and exhilarating.

Once you've located that spot in your body and you're bringing your breath consciously to that spot,

Begin to tune in.

If that spot had a voice,

What is it saying to you?

And what does it need from you?

It might need support.

It might need attention.

It might need attunement.

Or it might be there to give you those things.

Take a few minutes and sit with that spot.

Are there any intentions that you would like to set for how to support that message that you just received from your body,

But also your higher self?

A new moon is where we plant seeds for our future endeavors.

And it is a potent time to reset.

It's also a powerful time for inner reflection.

We are encouraged to go in to explore our inner landscape.

And that includes our physical body and our emotional reactivity or contentment.

How do you feel emotionally as you sit here listening to your body and tuning into your breath?

What are some of the words that come to your mind regarding your emotional state?

What are some of the emotions in your most deeply held feelings?

And what has happened to you this month?

What emotions have been trying to get your attention?

Tuning into your emotions and your physical body is a wonderful way to highlight your personal growth areas.

And creating sacred space so that you can listen to the messages that your body,

Mind,

Soul,

And higher power are bringing you.

This is a very powerful way to engage with your source connection.

What would you like to transform in the coming month?

And keep it simple.

Nothing needs to be elaborate.

This is your time,

Your psyche,

And your kind and loving presence,

Here to support yourself in finding more contentment and a deeper sense of peace.

Come back to your breath and notice how your body feels now.

You've just spent dedicated,

Precious time attuning to your body,

Listening to your heart,

And setting intentions for your soul.

And how does that feel?

Tuning into your field of awareness is available to you at any time during your day.

I encourage you,

Over the next few weeks,

To continue tuning in,

Beginning with your breath,

Deepening into your physical sensations,

And listening to the messages that arise.

This is the first day of your new beginning and fresh start.
