Begin by pausing.
Just for a moment.
Not to change anything but to notice.
And in this noticing,
I'd like you to bring your attention inward.
As if you're turning a soft light towards yourself.
Notice your breath,
Not controlling it,
Just observing.
How is it?
Is it shallow or deep?
Fast or slow?
Now will shift that noticing to your thoughts.
But instead of getting caught in them,
Imagine you're sitting beside a quiet stream.
And each thought is a leaf drifting past.
You don't need to grab them,
You can just watch.
Now notice who is watching.
There is a quiet awareness here.
Presence behind thoughts,
Behind the feelings.
Rest there.
Notice the who.
Who you are.
Feel it in your body.
Not just where it's tense,
But where it's alive.
A subtle hum,
A quiet energy,
Always there.
Because you are not just your reactions and not just your habits and not just the voice in your head.
You are the awareness that sees it all.
That is who is watching.
And in this awareness there is space.
There's space to pause and space to choose.
And space to simply be.
So for a moment,
Do nothing.
Just be aware of being aware.
Notice there's a quiet peace in this place.
You can gently carry this piece with you.
Not as something to hold on to,
But as something you can return to anytime.
Whenever you're feeling overwhelmed.
Or feeling like life's becoming a little bit too much.
Return to the awareness of awareness.
This is who you truly are.
And that's how you'll find.
Thank you.
