In this Yoga Nidra practice, you’ll be gently guided into deep rest while being supported through the emotional landscape that can follow a breakup. The practice creates space to acknowledge grief, numbness, or tenderness without needing to fix or understand anything. Through body awareness, breath, and imagery, you’ll be invited to soften emotional tension and reconnect with a sense of inner safety. This track supports the quiet process of healing and helps you remember your wholeness, even in the midst of loss. The background music is Royalty Free via Pixabay and is called 'white noise'.

Welcome.

My name is Natalie and I want to welcome you for this Yoga Nidra for heart healing after a breakup.

Begin by lying down comfortably.

Allow your body to be fully supported.

Gently close your eyes and take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Again inhale and exhale.

Let the outside world fade away.

Remember there is nothing to fix,

Nothing to solve,

Nowhere else you need to be right now.

And feel the ground holding you.

Even if your heart feels broken,

You are still being held.

Notice the quiet rhythm of your breath.

No need to change it,

Just observe.

You have survived every moment that brought you here.

And right now,

You are safe.

In this tender space,

Plant a soft intention.

Not something forced,

But something true.

And silently repeat,

I am allowed to heal.

I am still whole.

Love still lives within me.

Love still lives within me.

Now choose the one that feels most real for you right now and repeat it again gently,

Three times within yourself.

And now gently bring your to your right hand thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Wrists,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Right side waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Top of the foot.

Now bring your awareness to your left side,

Left hand thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Palm of the hand,

Back of the hand,

Wrists,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Left side waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Top of the foot.

Now bring your awareness to the back of the body,

Both of your shoulder blades,

The lower back,

Back of the head,

Crown of the head,

Forehead,

Both of your eyes,

Your jaw,

Your chest,

Your heart space,

Your heart space.

Bring your awareness to your heart.

And you may notice tightness,

Hollowness,

Ache,

Numbness,

Or maybe nothing at all.

Whatever is here is welcome.

And imagine your breath moving in and out of your heart space.

As you inhale,

Make space.

And as you exhale,

Soften.

You're not here to forgive yet.

You're not here to understand.

All you have to do is breathe.

Breathing in and out.

Making space and soften your heart space.

Welcoming all emotions.

And just breathe.

And now imagine your pain as a small light in your chest.

Not overwhelming,

Just present.

You are not inside the pain.

You are holding the space.

See if you can silently say,

This too belongs.

This too belongs.

This too can be held.

This too can be held.

And let your breath rock you gently.

Like waves.

And now remember a moment of love.

Feel it in your body.

Allow love to be felt everywhere in your body.

And now remember the loss.

Feel the loss in your body.

And notice the difference.

Love.

Loss.

Both are movements of the same heart.

And your heart is still here.

Still beating.

Still alive.

Now imagine gathering your energy back.

Gather your energy back from memories.

Gather your energy back from conversations.

Gather your energy back from shared spaces.

And see it returning to you like soft golden light.

Golden light filling your chest.

Filling your belly.

Filling your whole being.

You are not empty.

You are returning.

And you are taking your energy back.

And now softly return to your intention.

Repeat within yourself.

I am allowed to heal.

I am allowed to heal.

I am still whole.

I am still whole.

And love still lives within me.

Love still lives within me.

And release all efforts.

There is nothing for you to do.

Just rest here.

And then slowly begin to feel your breath deepen.

Notice your body again.

Notice the surface beneath you.

And also feel this golden light within you.

From you taking back your power.

And start to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take your time.

And then slowly still with your eyes closed bend your knees and roll over to one side using one of your hands as a pillow for your head.

Take a moment to thank yourself.

Give yourself a compliment.

And then slowly,

Slowly still with your eyes closed push yourself up into a seated meditative position.

And place both of your hands on your heart.

Feel this gentle beating of your heart.

And remember that you are still here.

And we're gonna end this practice with one Om and three Shanties.

So inhale deeply filling up your chest and belly with air.

Shanty,

Shanty.

And then gently open your eyes.

And I'm wishing you a lovely rest of your day.

And remember you can always come back to this practice whenever you need a small reminder to take your power back and to come here to heal.

Until the next time.

Namaste.
