Today we'll have a healing meditation.
A peace prayer for ourselves,
For those around us and for the world.
As you listen,
I want to invite you to allow your heart to open,
To allow your body to soften and to allow your energy to radiate calm and compassion.
Find a comfortable spot and when you're ready,
We're gonna start.
Now start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Allow yourself to arrive in this moment.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw soften and let your breath deepen.
Feel the gentle rhythm of your breathing,
The sacred reminder that you are alive,
That you are connected,
That you are safe.
Now imagine golden roots growing from the soles of your feet deep into the earth.
Feel her steady loving presence supporting you and with every breath you are grounded,
Anchored in peace.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Place your hands over your heart and feel its warm and steady beat.
Connect to your heart.
Connect to your breath.
Connect to your body.
Connect to the earth.
And now silently whisper,
May I be peaceful.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe.
May I be free.
May I be peaceful.

And with each breath,
Imagine your heart glowing brighter.
A soft light expanding through your chest.
Filling your entire being with serenity.
Any tension,
Worry or heaviness gently melts away.
You are the source of peace.
You are the source of peace.
Now imagine this radiant light extending outward,
Reaching your loved ones,
Your family,
Your friends.
Visualize them surrounded by a soft golden light.
See them smiling.
Smiling.
Calm and at ease.
And silently repeat,
May you be peaceful.
May you be healthy.
May you be safe.
May you be free.
May you be peaceful.

And let this energy flow into your heart.
Let this prayer travel beyond words,
Carried by your heart energy.
And now see your light growing,
Touching your neighborhoods,
Your city,
Your country.
People you know and people you don't.
Even those who may think or live differently.
All beings connected by the same desire to live in peace,
To love and be loved.
And breathe out peace.
And breathe in compassion.
And breathe out peace.
Breathe in compassion.
Now imagine the entire earth before you.
You may keep your hands on your heart or maybe you want to raise your hands and imagine the earth before you and that you put your hands around it.
Whatever you want to do right now,
Just trust that your intention will guide you into the right gesture with your heart and with your hands.
So imagine the entire earth before you,
Floating gently in the vastness of space.
You see the blue oceans,
The green forests,
The golden deserts and the snowy mountains.
See it glowing with a healing light,
Pulsing with love.
And now repeat silently,
May all beings everywhere be peaceful.
May all hearts awaken to kindness.
May the world be free from suffering.
May love guide our way.
May all beings everywhere be peaceful.

And stay with this energy for a few breaths and feel your connection to all life.
Humans,
Animals,
Nature,
The stars above.
And really feel this deep into your heart.
And repeat again,

And now slowly bring your awareness back to your heart.
Feel your breath,
Your body,
Your presence.
Know that this peace you cultivated continues to ripple outward,
Touching everyone and everything around you.
And now take a final deep breath in and exhale with a gentle smile.
And whisper softly,
Peace begins with me and through me peace flows to the world.
