Welcome.
My name is Natalie,
And I am so happy you are here right now.
The full moon has long been seen as a time of reflection.
Release and renew.
A moment to pause,
To breathe and to let go of what no longer feels aligned with who you are today.
So whether you're following the moon cycles or simply need a moment of stillness,
This practice is an invitation to slow down.
To reconnect with yourself.
And to create space for something new.
So find a comfortable position.
You may choose to sit or lie down.
Allow your hands to rest naturally.
Whenever you are ready and it feels safe.
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently breathe out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
One more time.
A long nourishing inhale.
And a slow,
Effortless exhale.
And now allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
There is nothing to change.
Nothing to fix.
Simply notice the gentle movements of your breath.
Now feel the support beneath your body.
This could be a chair.
A bit.
Yoga mat.
The floor.
And notice how the earth is holding you.
You don't have to carry everything by yourself in this moment.
You are supported.
And now gently bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Allow the muscles of your forehead to soften.
Relax your eyes.
Your jaw.
Let your shoulders become heavy.
Releasing the weight you've been carrying.
Allow your arms to rest.
And your hands to soften.
Relax your chest.
Your belly.
Your hips.
Your legs.
All the way down into your feet.
And your entire body is beginning to settle.
With every breath,
You become just a little softer.
Now imagine yourself standing outside on a warm summer evening.
The air feels calm.
There is a gentle breeze against your skin.
Above you.
A beautiful full moon.
Lights up in the night sky.
Its silver light is soft.
Peaceful.
And welcoming.
Imagine this moonlight gently surrounding you.
Like a warm embrace.
A light that asks nothing from you.
Light that simply invites you to be yourself.
And as you stand beneath the moon,
Ask yourself this gentle question.
What am I ready to let go of?
There is no need to search for an answer.
Simply allow whatever comes to mind to be welcomed.
Perhaps it's a worry.
Fear.
A habit.
I believe.
A pressure you've been carrying.
Or maybe it's simply the feeling of always needing to do more.
So whatever appears,
Notice it without judgement.
Now imagine placing this gently into the light of the moon.
Not forcing it away,
Not rejecting it,
Simply offering it with gratitude.
Thanking it for everything it has taught you and allowing it to dissolve into the soft silver light.
And now feel yourself becoming lighter.
More spacious.
More free.
And as the moonlight continues to surround you.
Notice the empty space that has been created.
A beautiful open space within you.
Ask yourself one more question.
What would I like to invite into my life?
Perhaps it is peace.
Trust.
Joy.
Courage.
Self-compassion.
Freedom.
Or simply more presence.
Allow this intention to gently settle in your heart.
Like a tiny seed.
There is nothing you need to do.
Only trust that it will grow in its own time.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feeling each inhale.
Each exhale.
Notice your body once again.
The support beneath you.
The sounds around you.
The space you're in.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly let it go.
As you continue with your day or move into your evening,
Carry this feeling of spaciousness with you.
Remember,
Letting go doesn't always happen all at once.
Sometimes it happens with a single breath.
It begins with a single choice.
A single moment of awareness.
Thank yourself for showing up today.
And whenever you are ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
If you are lying down,
You can bring your knees into your chest and roll over to one side using one of your hands as a pillow for your head.
Remain with your eyes closed and gently,
Gently pushing yourself up into a seated position.
Bring your hands in prayer in front of your heart,
Bow down your head and slowly,
Slowly open your eyes.
Take your time.
Welcome back.
I'm wishing you a very nice rest of your day,
Rest of your evening.
And if you feel that this meditation has helped you,
Do not hesitate to send this to a friend that could use this too.
Until the next time,
Namaste.
