Welcome to this Meditation for Beginners.
My name is Natalia and I am so proud of you to make the decision to meditate today.
Meditation is a very personal experience and you should be encouraged to try different forms of meditation to see what feels right to you.
First,
I would like to invite you to get comfortable,
Close your eyes,
Relax your body.
In this moment,
Check in with yourself to see how you are feeling.
Now,
Take a nice,
Slow,
Deep breath in and exhale,
Feeling all of the air leaving your body.
Take a long and slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Just try to be aware of your breathing,
Your chest extending.
That's okay.
The point of meditation is not to have a completely empty mind the whole time.
So,
When you find your mind wandering,
Just bring your focus back to the breathing and to my voice.
Take a moment and think of someone that you love.
Picture that person in your mind.
Feel that deep sense of gratitude and love to the person is in your life.
Take another slow,
Deep breath in through the nose.
Gratitude,
It's the memory of the heart.
