In present times, we may find ourselves lost in a dark tunnel feeling overwhelmed. I invite you take a journey with me in this meditation and to awaken your imagination. My heart wanted to tell a story and I wrote this for myself when I was feeling like giving up. I hope that this guided visualization from my heart to yours will hold you when you feel overwhelmed and help you find the light at the end of the tunnel. This is "The Place of No Turning Back." Sometimes in life it may feel like the walls are caving in around us,

Like we have nowhere left to turn and no one to turn to.

I too have found myself in those places.

You might feel like you want to run and hide,

Like you want to disappear,

Like you want to return to where you came from.

Only you don't know nor remember how to get there.

It feels as if all is lost,

Like all was for nothing and there is no hope.

You may feel like there is no more air left for you to breathe.

Maybe you are in this place now.

I invite you to close your eyes and just breathe.

Breathe a breath of fresh life force into your lungs.

Breathe into the hurt,

The pain,

The anger,

The heartbreak,

The shame.

Breathe into the unworthiness.

Just let it be.

These emotions within us just want to be heard,

Fear just wants to be heard.

My lovely friend,

I invite you now to remember why you are here on this planet.

Remember your heart's calling.

Remember your reason for being alive.

Place a hand on your heart now and focus on the feeling of love inside your heart.

Let this feeling grow bigger and bigger.

Think of something that brings you joy.

What brings you purpose?

What makes your heart sing?

For in times where we feel lost,

We can always remember what brings us joy.

Now imagine yourself walking through a long dark tunnel.

It's cold,

It's dark.

You are tired and want to turn back but you keep going.

All your darkest fears meet you in this tunnel.

There are bats and other unseen creatures lurking in the shadows.

Your feet are scrolled and your feet hurt from walking on the rocks in the tunnel.

Then you see a white light in the distance and you keep moving towards the light.

The light gets brighter and brighter.

Finally,

You've made it.

You are there.

You step outside the tunnel into the light and place your foot on the soft green grass and enter a beautiful field filled with beautiful flowers,

Daffodils,

Orchids,

Lilies.

You hear a stream in the distance.

You walk through the field noticing the flowers and the butterflies and you find a path made of pebbles.

Along the path,

You see pictures of you accomplishing your goal.

In the pictures,

You are surrounded by the people that you love and they are celebrating you in all your wins.

You are filled with joy and gratitude,

Seeing yourself at various stages of your life,

In all your accomplishments.

You have made it.

How does it feel knowing that you have accomplished your heart's desire?

You remember the dark tunnel and how you wanted to quit and are so happy that you kept going.

My friend,

We are all in that tunnel now.

But know that there lives a light at the end of the tunnel.

When you feel like you want to stop,

Remember what awaits for you.

When you feel like you want to give up,

Remember that your heart is calling you to this place,

Your place of joy,

Your place of happiness,

Your reason for being here.

You will keep going,

My friend.

You will not stop because you are so close,

Closer than ever before.

You are on the perfect path.

Your timing is perfect.

You are not behind.

Slowly open your eyes and come back into the room.

When you feel lost or scared or alone,

Remember the place that lies at the end of the tunnel.

This is the place of no turning back.

Namaste.
