It's one of a series of love letters I wrote to myself. This meditation is one of love in moments when you need to hold yourself and let your feelings be and remind yourself that you are loved, and that it's okay, and that you are going to be okay. I have been using this a lot in present times to calm myself amidst the overwhelm and come back to love.

It's okay if sometimes you feel like you can't breathe.

Like there's a storm that rages within you that you can't possibly come.

You're human my love and you are made to feel you are created with a heart.

You are created to experience both light and the darkness.

They are both a part of you.

They make you whole.

They make you alive.

Close your eyes and rest now for a minute.

Wrap your arms gently around yourself in a soft embrace.

Bow your head and surrender.

Breathe a delicious breath of life into your lungs.

Whisper now to yourself,

It's okay.

I'm holding you.

I've got you.

I've always got you.

I know this moment hurts and that your heart feels so heavy and that it can't possibly hold anymore.

You can't loosen the tight grip of fear on your chest.

I feel your pain in this moment and I know it feels it will never go away but it will.

I promise you it will.

That's why I'm here to hold you now and I'm not going to let go ever.

I've got you.

It's okay.

I love you.
