Transcript

Welcome to this meditation.

To begin,

Take a comfortable seat.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in and exhale,

Letting go of any tension.

Begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.

Then allow it to lengthen and feel your body begin to relax,

Easing into stillness.

Let's reflect on the meaning of karma,

The fate or destiny resulting from one's previous actions.

In the chaos of today's world,

It's natural to feel anger,

Stress or anxiety.

Sometimes,

It feels overwhelming to witness the darker side of human nature in the news or on social media.

Yet,

Deep within every one of us lies a place of peace and kindness.

Kindness is simple.

It can be shared through a smile,

A gentle gesture.

Good intentions and deeds create good karma,

While negative actions bring the opposite.

As you breathe in,

Invite a sense of calm and goodness,

And as you breathe out,

Release any need to control what is beyond you,

Such as the negative actions of others.

Know that the universe is always working,

Always balancing all things in its perfect,

Natural way.

Focus on letting go of the chaos around us and trust that everyone's karma will play out as it should.

For the next few minutes,

Silently repeat to yourself the following mantra.

The universe will bring everything into balance.

The universe will bring everything into balance.

The universe will bring everything into balance.

Friends,

It's time to release the mantra and come back to the space around you.

Take one final deep breath in and exhale.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Today,

With each breath,

Feel your compassion and kindness grow.

Let your actions be gentle,

Your thoughts be clear.

Go build good karma.

Namaste.
