Hey,
It's Myrthe and welcome to this meditation to help you connect with your intuition.
It's very easy in this world to lose the connection with our gut or,
In other words,
Our intuition.
It's a subtle nudge in a world that's only loud,
Fast and busy.
So this meditation will help you come back into your body and listen to these subtle nudges.
So,
First of all,
Find a comfortable seat.
You can sit on a chair with your feet on the ground or you can sit cross-legged in meditation position or,
If you like,
You can even lay down.
And then close down your eyes and take a really deep breath in through your nose and an exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
One last time like that,
Breathe in and out,
Allowing your breath to slow down.
And allowing your breath to slow you down,
Letting the body settle,
Feeling your seat or your feet connecting to the ground beneath you.
And just notice how the earth is holding you.
Solid,
Steady,
Unhurried.
There is nothing you need to do right now.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Just arrive here.
Be here.
And then bring your attention into your body,
Noticing any areas that feel tight,
Overwhelmed or busy.
And breathe into them gently,
As if you could soften from the inside out.
And with every exhale,
Letting go of anything that doesn't need to come with you into this moment.
Letting your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw relax.
Let your belly soften.
And now place your left hand onto your heart and your right hand onto your belly.
And just breathe into your palms several times,
Feeling the rhythm of your breath,
The subtle movement on your palms,
The rising and falling.
And take a slow inhale deep down into your lower belly,
Expanding the belly and only then expanding into the chest.
Hold that breath at the top for a moment.
And then exhale out through your mouth with a long sigh,
Releasing.
And do that a few more times.
Big belly inhale,
Holding at the top.
And a noisy release when you exhale,
Imagining each breath clearing a little more space within you.
A quiet space,
Because it's in that space that your intuition lives.
So big belly breaths in,
Holding,
And clearing that space when you breathe out.
And breathe in through your belly,
Hold,
And clear out that space when you exhale.
And then picturing yourself standing in a field,
A beautiful,
Grossy field.
The air is still,
The earth is warm,
The light is soft,
And you can hear the quiet sounds of nature around you,
And somewhere ahead of you,
In the distance,
There's a gentle light,
Warm and inviting.
And something within you tells you,
You have to go there.
So you start walking towards that light.
And with every step closer,
Your mind softens,
Your heart opens,
And your body relaxes.
You're getting closer and closer.
And when you reach the light,
You go and sit right next to it.
And this light,
This place,
Feels so familiar,
Even though you may not have been here for a while.
This light is your intuition.
It is the wise and loving,
The knowing presence that lives inside of you.
So take a moment and just sit with that.
Getting to know your intuition again,
Remembering what it feels like.
And then take a breath and silently,
In your mind or out loud,
Say,
Dear Intuition,
I am here,
I am listening.
And then ask,
Gently but clearly,
What do you want me to know right now?
I am here,
I am listening.
What do you want me to know right now?
And just stay quiet for a few moments.
Don't try to think yourself into an answer.
Just listen.
You might sense words,
Colors,
Images,
Or feelings.
Whatever comes,
Just trust it.
And if nothing comes,
Just trust the stillness too,
Because that as well is part of your message.
I am here,
I am listening.
What do you want me to know right now?
Now take another deep breath and imagine that light entering your body.
Let it fill that quiet space within you that you just created.
Soft,
Warm,
Steady.
And know that this inner guidance is always within you,
Waiting to be heard when you slow down enough to listen.
So whisper to yourself,
My Intuition always knows and I am learning to trust it.
My Intuition always knows and I am learning to trust it.
Take a few more breaths here,
Feeling grounded in your body,
Feeling supported,
Clear and at peace.
And if there are any big or small decisions that you need to make right now in your life,
Take a moment to feel into that decision right now from this place of quiet knowing.
Sit with it,
Feel into it and let your body give you those subtle notches that are the answer.
Don't judge the outcome.
Allow that subtle little notch to speak without the mind taking over.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the space you're in,
The space around you.
Feeling your seat,
Your feet,
Your breath.
And placing a hand on your heart and on your belly once more.
And thanking yourself for listening,
For slowing down and for creating this quiet space and remembering that you can always come back to this place.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes and step back into your life knowing exactly what you need to do,
Knowing exactly what you want.
