Bedtime with Mrs.

Honeybee.

Today we'll be exploring the world of Peppa Pig.

We're going to meet my friends Peppa and George on our adventure.

They're so excited to see you.

All you have to do is close your eyes,

Get cozy,

And listen to the sound of my voice.

Mrs.

Honeybee will be your guide.

Let's begin.

You are strolling through a peaceful grassy place.

As far as you can see,

There's grassy hill after grassy hill.

Each hill is covered in a soft bright green grass that makes you want to tuck your arms in and roll down.

You are walking slowly enough to enjoy the feeling of the tall grass brushing lightly against your ankles.

Up in the sky,

The circle sun has small rays shooting off of it.

The sun is bright,

Yellow,

And looks like it was drawn to be up in the sky above you.

The world looks like a drawing,

But you're able to walk through it peacefully.

Feel the bright warm sunshine on your skin as you continue to stroll.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Right foot,

Left foot.

You are enjoying this peaceful walk,

But where are you going?

As if to answer this question,

You hear a friendly oink float through the warm air.

It's Peppa Pig.

She's a few steps behind you,

But you can hear her friendly oinks in this quiet,

Peaceful,

Grassy place.

Peppa runs to you.

She's wearing her yellow puddle jumping boots and her favorite red dress.

She runs up to you and holds her arms out wide for a big hug.

She's so happy you're here with her.

You give her a big,

Squeezing hug back.

She's heading to playgroup with Madame Gazelle Gazelle.

Madame Gazelle's house.

Peppa and her family are visiting Madame Gazelle.

Just up ahead on the next hill.

One of Peppa's favorite things to do is look after her little piggy brother George.

This is my little brother George.

But where is George?

Here he comes.

He was rolling in the green grass on his way to catch up with you and Peppa.

George is my brother.

He's brilliant.

George is wearing his red puddle jumping boots and his favorite blue shirt that's now splashed with green from rolling in the grass.

He gives you a little piggy oink and a little piggy hug.

The three of you take a deep breath of the grassy smelling air in through your nose,

Letting the fresh air fill your lungs on the walk to playgroup.

Then you breathe out slowly through your mouth.

You arrive at the schoolhouse at the very top of one of the grassy hills.

You can hear the muffled sounds of the playgroup playing inside with Madame Gazelle Gazelle.

You open the door and are greeted by all of the friends at once with a cheerful hello friend.

You walk in the door with Peppa and George.

You're standing on the magenta carpet and looking at all the familiar things.

On the wall there are big squares that have the letters A,

B,

C,

D,

And E on them in light pastel colors.

There's the colorful clock in the middle and the other group of squares on the other side.

That group of squares has numbers on them.

Count them with me from one to nine.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

And nine.

You are so happy to be here with all the playgroup friends.

Peppa is excited to introduce you to everyone.

She introduces you to Zoe Zebra first.

Hello Peppa,

Did you get my letter about my party?

Yes,

And I've written you a reply.

Zoe is wearing her pretty purple dress.

She burrs a hello and waves her black and white striped hoof.

Pedro Pony is next.

He waves hello in his yellow shirt that is as bright as the sun and he's sporting a cowboy hat.

Pedro,

Can we be cowboys too?

Yes,

You can be my partners.

Rebecca Rabbit is here too as she squeaks squeaks and waves hello.

Hello everyone.

Rebecca!

One of her rabbit ears flops down as if it's waving too.

Molly Mole smiles big from rosy pink cheek to rosy pink cheek and waves hello.

Hello,

I'm Molly Mole.

Hello Molly.

Suzy Sheep is next.

She's wagging her cotton puff tail in her pink dress as she runs up to give you and Peppa a hug hello.

Hello Suzy.

Hello Peppa.

Gerald Giraffe is standing behind all of the other friends.

But luckily he's so tall that you can still see him.

He's wearing his favorite purple shirt and he says hi.

Hello Gerald.

Hello.

Wow,

You're really tall.

So you must be really old.

I'm tall because I'm a giraffe.

Lastly,

There's Danny Dog who woof woofs hello and wags his little puppy tail.

Yo ho ho.

This playgroup of friends is the most fun because everyone is a different animal.

Think for a moment.

In this fantastically friendly world,

What kind of animal do you want to be?

Hey.

What kind of sound do you make?

As your chosen animal,

Wave hello back to the friendly playgroup.

You got here just in time.

Madame Miselle Gazelle is about to start a fun new activity that will help the playgroup use their imaginations to rest their minds and bodies.

Hello Madame Gazelle.

Hello everyone.

Come in,

Come in.

Using your imagination is one of the most fun things you can do.

She has set out a soft squishy rectangular mat for each of the friends.

Everyone has their favorite colors.

What's your favorite color?

Look around the room and find your favorite color mat.

You walk slowly over to it,

Passing by some of the friends on your way.

Your neighboring friends are excited for this imaginative relaxing activity.

Madame Miselle asks you to sit down comfortably,

Cross legged on your colorful mats.

You slowly sit down and gently rest your hands on your legs.

You can feel your legs under your hands and your feet bottoms under your crossed legs.

As you're sitting comfortably,

Imagine you have a big bushy tail like Freddy Fox.

Your tail fluffs out behind as you are seated.

Focus your attention on stretching your bushy fox tail out as far from your head top as possible.

You feel like you're so stretched that you might be as tall as Gerald Giraffe.

All of the friends in the playgroup are seated cross legged,

Stretching their tummies tall on the colorful mats.

Madame Miselle Giselle asks you to gently close your eyes because you're going to focus on using your imaginations and your breathing.

Imagine that instead of your nose,

You have a little piggy snout like Peppa,

Light pink and rounded.

Breathe in through your Peppa Pig nose,

Hold the fresh air in your lungs.

Then as you breathe the air out through your mouth,

Try to make a Peppa Pig winking noise.

We're going to keep breathing like this as we focus our attention and imagination on letting each and every part of our bodies rest.

Madame Miselle Giselle asks the playgroup to focus on the very tops of your heads.

Focus again on reaching it tall toward the ceiling.

Focus on relaxing your eyebrows,

Your face and your teeth.

With your rosy pink cheeks,

Take a little breath in through your nose.

As you hold the fresh air in your chest,

Puff out your rosy cheeks big,

As big as you can.

Then as you breathe out,

Use your rosy pink cheeks to puff the air through your mouth and try to make Pedro Pony sounds with your lips.

Yes,

You can be my partners!

Let your teeth relax here and hold them in a gentle,

Comfortable way to let your cheeks feel squishy and relaxed.

Focus your attention on your center,

Where these four different directions meet.

That center is your spine.

Imagine that your spine,

Which is holding your whole body together,

Still and strong,

Can stretch out as long and as tall as Gerald Giraffe.

Imagine having big brown giraffe spots dotting your long,

Tall neck,

Just like his.

Your spine is strongly and sturdily supported by your hips as you sit comfortably on your favorite color mat with the playgroup.

Imagine your body is a stack of wooden building blocks,

Just like the ones that Emily Elephant likes to play with.

Each block has a letter or a number on it in bright colors.

Mr.

Bull taught us that to build the blocks up sturdy,

You need to start with more blocks on the bottom than on the top.

Sitting with your legs crossed,

Your hips and your folded knees form this sturdy bottom to build on.

Focus your imagination again on your center.

Imagine that someone drew a calming purple circle around your center.

This purple circle round with your shoulders at the top and rounds with your hips at the bottom.

Let's take a big breath in through your nose.

As you breathe in,

Imagine the air from your nose puffing up your center in this purple circle.

Your purple circle belly is so full of fresh air that it looks big and rounded,

Just like Grandpa Pig's wearing his purple shirt.

Breathe out big through your mouth,

Releasing all the fresh air.

Enjoy this relaxed,

Quiet feeling in the playroom with all of your friends around you.

Madame Miss El Giselle thinks everyone did a great job.

To celebrate doing such a wonderful job,

You do what all of Peppa's friends do when they finish a fun activity.

Everyone lays down flat on their colorful mats and wiggles.

Wiggles,

Wiggles their arms and legs in the air.

Yay!

Now that you've used your imagination to rest your mind and body,

It's time for the friends to walk home and get some fresh air.

Ah,

My friends,

The bats!

They remind me of the old country.

The playgroup files out of the playroom back into the sunshine.

You can feel the sunshine warming you as it beams down on your skin.

You stand on top of the green grassy hill.

Everyone is relaxed and calm from the activity and you begin your stroll through the hills to drop each friend off at their house.

Zoe Zebra's house is coming up first.

You start walking down,

Down the steep grassy hill right behind Zoe Zebra.

Hmm,

Diney dog,

Foosy sheep,

Rebecca rabbit,

Oh,

Pepper and George.

She's holding her favorite thing in the whole world,

Her tiny fuzzy brown toy monkey.

It has a happy smiling face and is flopping its dangling arms,

Legs and tail with each of Zoe Zebra's steps.

Oh look,

There's Daddy Zebra,

The postman.

He's opening up the bottom of the big red post box to deliver all the letters inside.

He needs help getting all of the many,

Many colorful envelopes from the big red post box to his bag.

Each of the friends reaches their paws in to grab a big handful of letters to be delivered.

You reach in too.

How many are you able to grab?

What colors are the envelopes?

You stuff Daddy Zebra's big brown bag full of letters.

We've got two letters.

He tosses the bag into his big yellow truck and heads off to deliver the post with Zoe Zebra.

She waves her black and white hoof goodbye out the window of her daddy's truck.

Post!

Getting quieter and quieter as the truck drives further away.

Now on to Pedro Pony's house,

Which is coming up on the next grassy hill.

Pedro Pony is wearing his dark brown cowboy hat with a bright yellow star on the front as he strolls with the group of friends.

The cowboy hat is blocking the bright warm sun from his eyes,

Which are behind his black glasses.

Pedro Pony shouts out to the group.

Let's pretend to be cowboys.

Welcome to my cowboy camp!

Yeehaw!

It's a tent!

It's a cowboy camp!

He gallops around and around the group,

Excited to be a cowboy,

Because that's one of his favorite things to do.

You and the other friends are his partners,

So you also gallop your feet happily through the bright green grass as if you were riding a horse as a cowboy in the wild wild west.

In the wild wild west,

Cowboys ride horses and swing a rope lasso above their heads to wrangle.

Everyone is having so much fun pretending to be cowboys in the wild wild west that you are slightly out of breath from playing pretend.

Approaching Pedro Pony's house on top of its own bright green grassy hill,

You take a big breath of sunshine in through your nose.

Hold the air in your rounded out chest full of sunshine,

Then breathe out through your mouth.

Mummy Pony invites everyone into their house to gather around and listen to Pedro Pony's calming ukulele music.

The friends gather around Pedro Pony closely in the living room,

And the ukulele music fills the air.

Now on to Emily Elephant's house.

Instead of walking down the bright green steep grassy hill,

You hear George's little piggy oink coming from the back of the group.

He gives a couple oinks,

And Peppa says that means he thinks everyone should roll all the way down,

Down,

Down the hill to get to Emily Elephant's house.

The sun is brightly shining and the air is warm.

You lay down on the green grass and can feel the warm sunshine on your skin.

Before you roll,

You make a little grass angel by raising your arms up and down and your legs side to side in one big circle that forms around you in the grass.

Enjoy the smell of the sunny grassy day and all the different sounds Peppa Pig's friends make as they're having fun.

As Emily Elephant is making your elephant shaped angel in the grass,

You hear her maker elephant sound like a trumpet.

She's having so much fun.

Now it's time to roll down.

You're laying on your back,

Looking up at the bright sun.

You close your eyes.

Emily likes to take big elephant breaths of sunshine through her trunk nose on days like this.

Let's try that.

Imagine that you have a long gray Emily Elephant trunk nose that you breathe in big through.

Hold the sunshine air in your chest,

Then breathe out through your mouth and try to make the Emily Elephant sound you heard while she was playing.

Now full of sunshine,

You move your weight from one side of your body to the other in a rocking motion.

You tuck your head in,

Make sure your eyes are closed tightly and begin to slowly roll down the hill.

The grass is thick,

So it's slowing your roll to a peaceful,

Gentle roll and you smoothly sail down the tall green hill,

Round and round and round,

Until you get to the very bottom.

You're rolling down,

Rolling,

Rolling,

Rolling all the way to the bottom.

When you get to the bottom,

You realize that the next best thing is there.

Muddy puddles.

Luckily,

You are already wearing your puddle jumping boots.

What color are your boots?

You stand up and get ready to jump big into the puddle.

Everyone is jumping up and down,

Splashing and playing.

Peppa Pig oinks as she jumps because this is her favorite thing to do.

Everyone waves bye to Emily Elephant as she goes home.

Next,

It's time to drop off Rebecca Rabbit in her Burrow house,

Which is just up the next hill.

Feel the bright,

Warm sunshine on your skin as you continue to stroll,

Now in your favorite color puddle jumping boots that are all muddy.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Right foot,

Left foot.

Instead of walking up the next hill,

Rebecca Rabbit suggests everyone plays pretend with scooters.

Everyone loves riding scooters,

Even pretend ones.

Strap on your pretend helmet under your chin and put your two hands in front of you like you're holding onto the handlebars of the scooter.

What does your scooter look like as you hop on?

You put one foot on the base of it,

Secure your hands to the pretend handlebars,

And zoom off with a strong push.

Danny Doll whoops and Rebecca Rabbit squeaks squeaks as they zoom past you,

Going even faster.

You push a little harder and a little harder to get all the way up the hill to Rebecca Rabbit's burrow.

There's no house on top of this hill like the other friends because Rebecca Rabbit lives underground.

You,

Followed by Rebecca Rabbit,

Peppa Pig,

George Pig,

And Danny Doll all hop hop hop like rabbits into one of the holes at the top of the hill.

When you hop down into the burrow,

You feel a gentle coolness watch over you since you are out of the bright sunshine.

It's darker down here,

But the sunshine is still filtering through and lighting up the many tunnels for you to explore.

The tunnels are so big that you're able to walk through them,

Down and around,

Down and around,

Left foot,

Right foot,

Left foot,

Right foot,

All the way down to Rebecca Rabbit's kitchen where Mummy Rabbit is making carrot cake.

To thank everyone for dropping off Rebecca Rabbit,

Mummy Rabbit gives everyone a piece of yummy sweet carrot cake.

The last friend to drop off is Danny Dog.

You tunnel back out of Rebecca Rabbit's burrow house and pop your head up back into the bright,

Warm sunshine above ground.

You all jumped out of the burrows,

Excited to be in the sun again.

To enjoy this sunny day,

You all take a deep breath in through your nose,

But this time raise your arms up around you like you're making a grass angel in the air.

Reach your hands all the way above your head,

Tall as if you're reaching up to touch the circle sun.

Then breathe out the sunshine through your mouth.

Now you're ready to drop off Danny Dog,

So you start heading down that hill.

Just then you hear a little beep,

Beep,

Beep coming up the hill.

It's Grand Dag Dog,

Beeping his horn on the way to his garage.

He weighs his paw at everyone to hop in the car.

You all pile in.

Grand Dag Dog is taking the car to his garage to fix it because it's old and puttering.

As you drive down the hill in Grand Dag Dog's old,

Puttering car,

You feel the breeze brush your cheeks.

You can also hear the old,

Tired car putt,

Putt,

Puttering along the hills.

Good thing Danny Dog likes to help Grand Dag Dog mend his cars.

The car pulls up to Grand Dag Dog's garage and everyone spills out of the car.

Grand Dag Dog hits button and the bonnet pops up in front of the car.

Everyone gathers around the shiny,

Gleaming metal engine of the old,

Puttering car.

Everyone reaches in and starts to fix the car.

You find a little piece of metal stuck somewhere it shouldn't be.

Reaching for it with your hand,

When you grab it between your fingers,

It feels cool and tinny to the touch.

Everyone stands back as Grand Dag Dog shuts the bonnet and starts the engine again.

This time the car starts without any puttering.

Everyone helped Grand Dag Dog fix his favorite car.

He and Danny Dog waved their paws and wagged their tails.

They thank you and say goodbye.

You have one stop left with Peppa Pig and George Pig.

You're going to see Grandpa Pig and Granny Pig's house.

You walk up the last grassy green hill on your exciting adventure with Peppa Pig and her friends.

You walk up to the outside of Grandpa and Granny Pig's house and they wave their piggy hooves hello.

Peppa wants to explore the garden.

Grandpa Pig loves his garden and is excited to show you around.

First you walk up to his big glass greenhouse that lets all the sunshine in for the plants.

You are inside the greenhouse but you can still feel a slight warmth from the sun and the sunshine lights up the whole greenhouse.

Big red juicy tomatoes have dark green vining stems that seem to climb up the glass walls of the greenhouse.

Grandpa Pig says the plants need to be watered today and asked for your help.

You,

Peppa and George grab the hose and point it at the dirt at the base of the tomato plants.

The water trickles out of the hose and the tomato plants gulp it down into the soil.

The entire floor of the greenhouse is dirt so all the plants can grow.

You know what dirt and water makes?

Mud.

You,

Peppa Pig and little piggy George all jump and splash one last time in the biggest greenhouse mud puddle.

Always remember that Mrs.

Honeybee believes in you.

You are special and you are loved.

We can't wait to see you again.
