Bedtime with Mrs.
Honeybee.
Today we'll be exploring the world of Paw Patrol.
All you have to do is close your eyes,
Get cozy,
And listen to the sound of my voice.
Mrs.
Honeybee will be your guide.
Rubble here!
I'm a construction worker!
Let's begin.
The sun is bright and the sky is blue as you play outside.
You're underneath a very large oak tree sitting in the grass.
Little friendly bugs are crawling in the grass and you are looking closely at them as they travel all around.
Suddenly you smell smoke.
You look around trying to figure out what's going on when you spot some trouble.
A dog house is on fire.
It's the neighbor's puppy.
His house is caught on fire by falling embers from the grill.
The flames are red and hot and dark smoke is drifting up into the air.
Can someone help save my house?
How's the dog from nearby?
Good thing you know just what to do.
The Paw Patrol are just the ones who can help put out this fire.
You rush over to the Paw Patrol lookout and call for the gang to come help.
Right away,
Ryder rushes out to see what's going on.
You quickly tell him about the fire.
Thanks for letting us know,
Says Ryder.
We could use your help putting out the fire.
Will you come along?
You bravely nod.
Yes,
You'd love to help save the day.
A fire truck honks as it drives out from the lookout.
Marshall,
A Dalmatian puppy,
Is behind the wheel.
Let's go save the dog house,
Says Marshall.
He's not alone either.
In the fire truck is Rubble,
Chase,
And Rocky too.
They're all ready to help.
Rubble's on the double,
Barks Rubble with a grin.
Let's go.
It's Rubble on the double!
You climb up into the fire truck with the Paw Patrol gang and speed toward the dog house.
Speeding across town,
You feel the wind in your hair as you travel with your puppy friends.
They're ready,
And together you're off to save the day.
The town is big,
But this fire truck is fast.
You're almost there when the fire truck begins to shake back and forth.
Oh no,
What's going on?
You hang on tight as the fire truck slows to a stop.
Uh oh,
Groans Marshall,
We have a flat tire.
How will we get to the fire now?
You think for a moment before jumping carefully down off the fire truck.
You run over to the tire and take a good look at it.
It's definitely flat.
That won't do.
What will we do,
Asks Chase.
Suddenly,
You remember seeing another tire in the back of the fire truck.
You rush around the back of the truck and find a nice new backup tire there.
It's a little heavy,
But you're able to drag it around to the side of the truck.
A few moments later,
And you've replaced the flat tire with the new one.
You're amazing,
Says Ryder happily.
The Paw Patrol puppies bark and howl in agreement,
And then you all continue on your way.
You spot the burning dog house.
The fire is a little bigger now,
And you can feel the heat of the flames on your cheeks.
But you're not scared.
You and Ryder and the rest of the Paw Patrol can handle this.
You help Marshall pull the big heavy hose from the fire truck and point it to the flames.
Cool water gushes from the hose and douses the dog house.
You and your puppy pals battle the blaze.
First,
You must spray the front of the house,
Hitting the top windows one by one,
And then the bottom windows.
The fire is almost out in the front.
Let's head to the back.
You spray down the back of the dog house and the fire begins to subside.
The fire crackles and finally goes out.
You saved my house,
Says the dog who'd been waiting for help.
His tail wags happily back and forth.
You all are the best.
Ryder gives you a big hug as the rest of the dogs grin at you.
You helped us save the day,
Says Ryder.
Consider yourself part of the Paw Patrol,
Too.
They give you a helmet and welcome you to the Paw Patrol.
Now you get to drive the fire truck back to the station.
Do you think you can handle it?
You put on your helmet and grab the keys.
It's your turn to drive.
You pull the fire truck out onto the road and take it on the highway.
You're going at a comfortable speed and Rubble decides to stick his head out the window to enjoy the view.
In the rearview mirror you can see him smiling happily as his ears flap in the wind.
You and the Paw Patrol save the day again.
You are happy.
You arrive and park the fire truck.
Wow,
Great job,
Says Rubble.
I can't wait to see what adventure tomorrow brings.
Always remember that Mrs.
Honeybee believes in you.
You are special and you are loved.
I can't wait to see you again.
