Hi,

This is Morgan from the Healing Mind app.

In this quick meditation,

You'll be receiving support for anxiety and you'll leave this session feeling calm and relaxed and present and safe.

This is especially helpful when you don't have a lot of time and you just need some quick relief.

So I invite you to just close your eyes,

Noticing how your body feels when you're anxious,

And allow your awareness to drop down into the base of your body,

Feeling the heaviness that's possible here,

The weight that keeps you on the ground,

Feeling that energy now begin to move down your legs,

Through your knees,

Your lower legs,

Your ankles,

Down through the bottom of your feet,

Connecting with the core of the earth,

And then begin to imagine all of the energy around your body,

In your body,

On top of your body,

Just beginning to melt slowly,

Like an ice cream cone in the middle of summer,

How it just begins to melt,

Feeling all of the sensations of everything just melting down until you become a puddle,

And as this puddle,

You just begin to expand into pure awareness.

There's no particular feature that stands out,

There's no particular qualities grabbing your attention,

You're just pure awareness.

Just begin to feel your body opening up and relaxing and softening,

Feeling like you can take a nice,

Deep breath again,

And if your attention becomes pointed again,

Noticing any anxious sensations,

Just drop back into that puddle,

Allow your attention to just completely relax into pure awareness,

And stay here as long as you would like,

As long as you have time for,

Allow yourself to be in just awareness as you move through your day,

Practicing not letting your attention get grabbed by any old focus of attention.

Yes,

Noticing if you begin to feel anxiety,

But then instead of laser focusing on it or trying to figure out how to get rid of it,

Just drop into this puddle of pure awareness.
