Welcome to today's self-love meditation.
Before we begin,
Make yourself comfortable in a seated cross-legged position or in a chair with your feet on the floor.
Keep your back straight and your eyes closed.
Start to feel the breath coming in through the nose,
Out through the nose.
In and out.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in the energy of love.
As you breathe out,
Exhale the energy of self-doubt.
Breathe in the golden,
Radiant energy of love.
Breathe out the dark feelings of unworthiness.
Today,
We will create space for self-love.
But first,
What is love?
Is it a feeling?
Is it an act?
Is it something we can see and hold?
For this meditation,
We will visualize love as a radiant golden light.
Imagine this golden light in the form of a thread.
Starting at your toes,
Start to visualize this golden thread wrapping you up.
Slowly,
Carefully,
And with love and attention,
Wrap yourself up in this golden light of love.
Breathe in and visualize each and every cell in your body being hugged and held by this radiant golden light.
In your mind,
Say to each cell in your body,
I love you.
Thank you for keeping me whole.
I appreciate what my body can do.
Thank you.
I love you.
I appreciate you for keeping my body whole.
Continue to cloak yourself in this golden thread of radiant love.
And as you do so,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of this love.
I am worthy of this love.
My love is a shield toward unwanted thoughts or feelings.
My love is a shield towards unwanted thoughts and feelings.
My love is stronger than my inner critic.
My love is stronger than my inner critic.
Silently repeat these affirmations to yourself,
Or you may feel called to develop your own affirmations.
Listen to your body.
Listen to the love that surrounds you.
And you are protected,
Supported,
And free.
As you continue on through your daily activities,
Remember that you are surrounded by a golden,
Radiant light of love.
And you are worthy of this love without having to do anything.
Take a deep breath.
Open your eyes.
