This meditation is going to help you create powerful, affirming language that will prepare you for the day ahead. The use of a mantra that I like to refer to as your “power phrase” allows you to create a strong sense of self-confidence and self-worth. Your personal Power Phrase focuses your mind, your attitude and your actions on what can and will vs. what can’t or won’t. In this meditation we focus on two phrases, I am, I will.

Welcome.

This meditation is going to help you create powerful affirming language that will prepare you for the day ahead.

The use of a mantra that I like to refer to as your power phrase allows you to create a strong sense of self-confidence and self-worth.

Your personal power phrase is going to focus your mind,

Your attitude,

And your actions on what you can and will be versus what you can't or won't be.

In this meditation we focus on two phrases,

I am and I will.

To begin,

Find yourself sitting in a chair,

Cross-legged on the ground,

And if you are in a chair,

Feet firmly grounded into the floor.

With eyes closed,

Sitting upright,

Imagine stacking each vertebrae of your spine,

One on top of the other,

Creating a strong,

Confident posture.

Roll your shoulders back,

Opening up your chest and heart.

Place your hands with palms facing up gently on top of your thighs or in your lap.

Relax your jaw slightly by separating your teeth,

And gently place your tongue on the roof of your mouth against the back of your two front teeth.

Relax the space between your eyes,

Relax your brow,

And with eyes remaining closed relax your gaze.

Let's now take three breaths in together through the nose and the inhale and through the mouth on the exhale,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now allow your breath to settle into its own natural tempo and rhythm.

Begin now to visualize the day ahead and take a moment to scan for anything that might bring about feelings of worry,

Stress,

Anxiety,

Fear,

Doubt,

Or anger.

And now begin to replace those negative thoughts and feelings with a positive affirming power phrase of I am and I will.

See yourself facing today confident.

Repeat after me,

I am confident.

See yourself being mentally strong and resilient.

Repeat after me,

I will be victorious today.

Go into your day prepared for the unexpected.

Go into your day ready for the challenge.

Repeat after me,

I am ready for any challenge.

I will handle obstacles today with confidence.

You see without challenge there can be no growth.

So welcome the adversity.

Welcome the objections.

Welcome the failure,

The fear,

And stress all with a mindset and attitude that you can and will grow better from it.

Now take a moment and create your power phrase for the day.

This can be a single word or phrase,

Anything that gives you inner courage and strength.

And as you find these words say them to yourself now with confidence.

Now smile.

Smile and see your day ahead and repeat your power phrase now.

And as you say it feel the confidence growing inside of you.

Feel your inner strength creating an impenetrable wall.

What you seek to become is already within you.

And armed with your power phrase you now have the power to control your day today and every day.

And whenever you go through today at any moment you begin to feel stressed,

Anxious,

Worried,

Or angry anchor yourself with three deep breaths.

Smile and repeat your power phrase.

Now go into your day.

Be strong.

Be confident.

Be bold and be open to all learning and all growth.
