Begin this meditation by finding a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out fully.
But a few more times,
Breathing deeply and fully each time.
Notice how your body starts to relax.
Now imagine yourself as a mighty dinosaur with strong legs and a powerful jaw.
You picture yourself in a prehistoric world surrounded by lush vegetation and towering trees.
You feel so strong and invincible,
Like nothing can stand in your way.
As you take a deep breath in,
Imagine yourself breathing in like a T-Rex.
You expand your chest and you take in as much air as you possibly can.
Hold the breath for a few seconds,
Feeling the power and strength of your dinosaur body.
As you exhale,
Imagine yourself breathing out like a stegosaurus.
Slowly release the breath,
Feeling the relaxation and the calmness of your dinosaur body.
Take a few more deep breaths in this way,
Inhaling like a T-Rex and exhaling slow like a stegosaurus.
As you continue to breathe in this way,
Feel your body become more and more relaxed.
Allow yourself to fully embody the spirit of the dinosaur,
Feeling the power and strength of your body.
You can continue to breathe in this way for as long as you like,
Feeling the sense of calm and peace that comes with each inhale and each exhale.
You are in control of your breath,
Just like a mighty dinosaur is in control of their body.
Take a moment to come back into this present moment and remember that you are strong and powerful,
Just like a mighty dinosaur.
You can use your breath to help you feel calm and centered,
No matter what challenges you may be facing.
