Welcome to your cherry blossom meditation.
Get comfortable in any position,
Either laying down or in an easy seat with your legs crossed.
Feeling supported by the earth beneath you.
Take a deep inhale and slowly sigh it out.
And one more time inhaling and slowly sigh it out.
If it feels safe close your eyes.
Close your lips.
Relax your jaw.
Breathing in and out through just your nose.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Supporting you.
You can allow yourself to unwind here.
Take a deep breath in and slowly out.
Allowing a sense of relaxation to fill your heart.
See yourself walking mindfully down the path in the middle of a park.
You have the place all to yourself.
You enjoy being away from the everyday hustle of the city.
It is a sunny spring morning.
The gentle breeze touches your skin.
You hear the birds sing and you see them playfully from one tree to the next.
The dew drops on the leaves sparkle under the sunshine.
As you walk down the path,
You notice a wooden bench waiting for you right by the cherry blossoms.
You decide to rest on the bench for a moment.
You lie down on your back and look up at the flowers and branches above you.
You follow their gentle dance as they sway with a breeze.
You don't often have quiet moments like this,
So you decide to enjoy each and every second.
You feel safe,
Ready to have an honest conversation with yourself.
As you lie down on the bench,
You reflect on the beauty of these freshly bloomed flowers.
And you think how empty these branches were just a few weeks ago.
The long winter months are now over.
The dark,
Cold days have been replaced with long,
Brighter ones.
Nature is at its full expression,
Bursting with life where there used to be nothing.
This makes you reflect on what is changing in your own life right now.
You think back to challenging times in your life and notice how your own strength allowed you to overcome any difficulties.
Like in the flowers above you,
You are resilient.
You have a natural ability to strive,
Even under the most adverse conditions.
You have gotten back up every time.
You have been able to love again.
You have believed in yourself.
You smile as you notice how much you have in common with these spring cherry blossoms.
You have grown your own roots to absorb the sweet nectar of life.
You have given your best to the world.
You have shared your talents the same way that these trees have extended their branches out.
Allow a yellow light to glow from beneath your ribcage as you stay in this energy of self-realization and resilience for a few moments.
I will remain silent.
If your mind wanders,
Simply come back to your breath or connect with a yellow ball of light in your upper abdomen to stay in the moment and quiet your mind.
You have been able to love again.
You have been able to love again.
You have been able to love again.
The flowers above you have found the strength and courage to break through the bark.
Like them,
Your unique gifts will continue to grow through any difficulties.
You can trust the flow of light within you to help you find the way if you ever feel lost or burdened.
Thank the trees for their message today and slowly get back on your feet.
Your entire body is energized and stronger.
Allow your feet to guide you as you move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and life.
Feel the warmth of the sunshine shower you from head to toe.
As you become aware of your body,
Bring yourself back to the room.
Notice any sounds.
Simply opening your eyes.
Giving your body a nice big stretch from your fingertips all the way to your toes.
Place your left hand and your right hand over your heart.
Taking gratitude for yourself.
For taking some time.
And take this renewed sense of energy and love and purpose of life with you forward.
