This is a little bedtime story for children written by a highly conscious spiritual teacher & coach. If you want your little one to fall asleep with ease and grace, and if you want them to expand their spiritual self at the same time, this story is highly recommended for your child. This story shines a new light on the topic of happiness, materialism and the purpose of life. It is encouraged to listen to the story yourself first before you play it for your kid and ponder on your own thoughts about it as it may expand their consciousness in a way they are not ready for yet. Enjoy listening! Note: the music used in this audio is copyright-free, though I'd like to mention both artists for I have used their works before. The first song is titled Enchanted Forest by Julius H. The second song is titled Lullaby Music Vol.8 by RelaxingTime.

Welcome to another one of Gracie's bedtime stories.

Thank you for listening in again this night and let us start off with a little meditation and I'm saying little and using the word meditation but actually what I want to do with you is something that you yourself alone can do every single day because what we're gonna do is take a breath and then pay attention to what our breath is gonna do and I am sure I'm willing to bet that you in your life have taken many breaths but how many of those breaths have you actually been conscious of?

How many of those breaths have you taken on purpose?

So what I would like to invite you to do is to lay down or sit down in any way that you like and don't worry this is not gonna be long we're gonna get into the story shortly but I just want to prepare us and once you're settled join me or I'll be guiding you and together we'll start off with a big breath.

Whenever you're ready we're gonna breathe all the way in and then all the way out when I tell you to.

So breathe all the way in and all the way out and notice that when you've breathing out there's that moment where you don't need air there's a moment between your exhale and your inhale and now don't keep holding your breath breathe whenever you feel like breathing but I just want to make us aware of that little moment between breaths is how I'd like to call it and now that you're breathing the way that you're breathing normally let's put some attention to the breath again and probably when you start paying attention to your breath it's gonna change a little bit and that's fine let's just put a little bit of attention to that space in between the breaths those moments of full silence where your body is almost saying to you let's take another breath and you may close your eyes while doing this you may already have closed your eyes whatever feels easy to you keep breathing normally and if you feel like doing it again the big breath that we did in the beginning feel free to do so if that's easier for you to notice the spots between your breaths between the exhale and the inhale that moment of silence and I'm doing it with you now that we've done this for about a minute which is way more than enough I want to get into the story of today before I fully do that I want to make you aware of what you just did for that minute or two playing with your breath like that that is actually a meditation so whenever you're in the bus or at school sitting at the dinner table or falling asleep this is something that you can do paying attention of your breath and paying attention of the space between your breaths and it's very easy and you'll see that you'll calm down you'll be more quiet you'll be more relaxed maybe before it an important test or an important presentation at school these things are very useful to implement now let's get into the story whenever you're ready go and lay comfortably again and all you have to do is listen to my voice father who's that rabbit down there sitting on his knees asks Gracie on her walk to the village surrounded by trees that's a rabbit who does not have money nor a home outside in the forest is where he has to stay he's a homeless rabbit so he lives above ground day by day Gracie walks on but still she thinks it's a bit weird can't he sleep with a friend get a job or at least shave his beard the rabbit has probably had a very tough life my dear so let's keep on walking and leave him in peace we're almost here Gracie keeps on walking so her dad doesn't accidentally leave her behind but then she stops because a scary thought pops up in her mind what if one day I wouldn't have any money or a place to stay I would love it if someone came up to me and asked if I wanted to play father we have a home and on the table next to the kitchen we even have a really expensive vase why don't we ask if the rabbit with the beard wants to stay at our place my sweet Gracie I am not sure how I can convey that this rabbit has probably decided for himself to live life this way how do you know the two of you never even met Papa rabbit had to laugh his daughter can be very stubborn how could he forget Gracie lets go of her father rabbits hands and walks to the rabbit with the beard mr.

Rabbit me and my dad would love to help you today is that okay the unnamed rabbit looks up and a smile appears on his face he puts his paw on his heart and thanks life in silence for its grace that's very sweet of you little miss rabbit but I don't need anything I have rabbits surrounding me and the whole forest to explore I am living like a king I ate enough I just drank a bit too the only thing that was missing to my day was a smile but that request was granted the moment I saw you but sir Gracie had a loss of words how could you be happy without any money or a home under the ground what do I do with money and what can a burrow give me that I have not yet found the only thing I ask from life is to experience happiness but don't be mistaken my dear that does not come in the form of a fancy car or an expensive dress sure to be honest sometimes I long for a hug or a laugh and that's the only reason I pray and so far I have noticed that I'm getting both of them every single day Gracie was surprised that this was the way a rabbit could live through the day no present for Christmas no new bike for school and not even any games to play Gracie asks herself what she wants to experience in this time on earth the answer is happiness too and when she thinks about it she has carried that feeling from her birth father I don't think I need that new doll in colors red yellow and blue I think without any toys I could be happy too father rabbit looks at Gracie with a happy smile and had to say I am happy this mr.

Rabbit could teach you something new today the bearded rabbit looks at the two in front of him his eyes are shining bright it's a beautiful day today he thinks a day filled with wonder and delight seeing a father's love for his daughter is a memory he will never forget and that feeling is worth much more than any amount of money could ever get that night the bearded rabbit is looking up at the sky wondering what the meaning of life is as stars are passing him by life is not about gathering and saving as much things as you can own life is about making memories sharing love and finding happiness in the smallest things and then he finally fell asleep with a soft happy and loving groan I hope you enjoyed that other little story of Gracie if you wish to listen to any other stories be sure to check out my profile also I would really appreciate it if you could listen to the end of this audio and give it a five-star rating my plan is to take all of these stories about Gracie and make one big book out of them and I would love to know your thoughts on that if that's something you would like or if you're fine with the audio version it really helped me out if you could share your thoughts and remember to be using the breathing practice that we talked about all the way in the beginning maybe it makes your tomorrow a bit easier and when you think about it it's always a good idea to be present so I hope you have a wonderful night I hope you enjoyed this story and sleep well
