It helps us prepare for and make the choice to change, with ease and grace. As well as bringing more balance, clarity, and alignment to the rest of our day. Welcome to this guided meditation where I'd like you to start off by sitting in a comfortable position And slowly whenever you feel ready Closing your eyes.

I want you to start off by Taking a deep breath in through the nose And breathing it all out through the mouth.

So in through the nose And out through the mouth letting all the air escape from your body and then slowly continue to your normal breath And start paying attention to your body.

What is happening?

Where is your body located in space?

What is it doing?

Are you sitting or are you laying down?

And ask yourself How is it feeling?

What is happening inside my body?

And let's begin with a small short body scan Where we first concentrate all of our attention and energy To the top of our head.

How's that feeling?

Can you feel the hairs on your head?

And how about your forehead?

Is it relaxed?

If it's not just try to relax your forehead and slowly move to your eyes And your eyelids.

How are they feeling?

Just observe and try to relax your nose your cheeks your jaw your tongue and your lips Try to relax and then slowly moving down to your neck your shoulders Do you notice any tension?

Try to relax your upper arms your lower arms your hands and your fingers Can you feel that tingling sensation?

On the top of your fingers That small little burst of energy at the top of your fingertips Try to relax your hands and your fingers Move to the chest your upper back your belly And if it helps You can use your breath To relax all these parts of your body Breathe into your belly To have it tense up And to then make it relax And to then make it relax And the same goes for your lower back Try and see if you can breathe into your lower back And then relax And then move down to your upper legs Breathe into your upper legs How does that feel?

Just try and make yourself relaxed And the more you breathe The more relaxed you become The deeper you breathe Move to your lower legs And your feet Try and see if you can feel that same tingling sensation as you felt on your fingertips Also on the bottom of your feet Maybe even on your toes And just feel your body And how completely relaxed you are How completely relaxed you are Breathing in deeply And become relaxed And slowly move your attention To the breath And what it's doing How deeply are you breathing exactly?

Where are you breathing to?

And let go of trying to control your breath But just let it flow Breathing in deeply And breathing out And while you keep being focused on your breath Let's think back about Our New Year's Resolutions If you're not listening to this meditation in the first week of January You probably have already forgotten About all of your New Year's Resolutions But let's take a moment to think back about these What is it that You set out for yourself to change this year?

And have you already done it?

And maybe there are still some other things That you'd like to see different in your life From now on if you could Try and think back about the things that you would like to change What are they?

What were your New Year's Resolutions?

And maybe you have new ones And what are those?

And now pick out one thing That you would like to see different in your life From today on Pick one thing that you would like to change About yourself Or anything in life And this could range from Drinking more water And stopping smoking Or driving that new car And living in that new house And just ponder upon the following question Who do you need to be For you to have that?

Who is that person That is already living that change?

Who is that person That is already living the life that you want?

The life that you desire?

Who is that person?

And whenever you find yourself an answer to that question Try and see that person Imagine that person Standing in front of you right now What is that person wearing?

How does that person behave?

Who is that person in front of you?

What do they do?

What are their values?

Imagine this person as clearly as you can With everything that they are Standing in front of you right now What does this person Do different than you?

In what way is this person different than you are?

Maybe they behave different Maybe they stand more tall Maybe they have different morals and values Maybe they make different decisions If so,

What decisions?

And why?

What motivates this person?

What is this person's why For living the life that they are living right now?

And keep envisioning this person Being right there before you And invite this person To merge together with you Because this person exists Somewhere,

In some dimension,

In some reality This version of you Is you And invite them to share with you Everything that they have and everything that they are Which is in fact you Because time does not exist Invite this person to merge into your body And feel your body merging together With this better version of yourself With this different version of yourself Feel yourself becoming one With this other version of you And take a moment to embody it The difference Between you and that other person Is from now on no difference anymore You are now both sharing That same personality trait That can bring you the life that you desire And thank this person for existing And helping you out to make your reality a better one Be grateful for them That they exist And that they are willing to be one with you And now ask yourself How would your life be different Once you open your eyes and step out of this meditation?

What is different?

What is going to change?

How are you different?

And how have you changed?

And now it's time to thank yourself For embracing that new life For being willing to change Because most people They want change But they are afraid to change themselves But without changing yourself There is no way in which change can occur Because it all starts with you So thank yourself for Having decided To make that change And feel that gratitude towards yourself Towards this new version of yourself Be happy where you are today Be thankful for everything that brought you here Everything that connected you To be listening to this meditation at this moment And everything that has in its own way Changed your path By leading you here to this meditation And helping you to be a different,

Better version of yourself Once you open your eyes And continue with your day And whenever you feel ready Get your attention back to your breath What is it doing?

In what way is it different Than when we started off this meditation?

The room that you're in Feel your body in whatever position it is And bring yourself back to this current reality Where you've been born anew Whenever that feels good to you You may slowly open your eyes And take another big deep breath in through the nose And let it all go through the mouth And if you feel not ready yet Don't rush yourself Just stay in this meditative state for a bit longer Feel free to continue the day In whatever way that feels good to you I want to thank you for listening to this meditation And I wish you a wonderful,

This is a wonderful meditation, focusing on change and observing the difference in our lives and what we have achieved since the start of the year. I will return to it as I want to consider what my resolutions were this year and whether I have achieved them, forgotten them or changed them. A very nice voice and delivery by Mick.
