Hello there and a very good evening.
Let me share with you another bedtime story to listen to right before you sleep into bed.
Just close your eyes and relax.
Rest your head on the pillow.
Feel your body.
Take a big deep breath followed by a sigh of relief.
And just listen to my voice.
What if there comes a day I have to say goodbye to dad?
Is what Gracie asked her mom right before she slipped into bed.
Or what if there comes a day where I won't see you anymore mother?
I'm so worried about losing you,
My dad or my big sweet brother.
Mother caresses Gracie's hand to calm her down.
Gracie looks at her as she notices her mother frown.
Mother looks worried because she does not know how to explain that life on earth will end one day.
Do you know why the sun gets up every morning my sweet daughter?
To shine light on our brand new day Gracie answers because that's what her mother had taught her.
Yes my girl and do you remember why it goes down at night?
So the moon gets a chance to shine because the sun is way too bright.
That's right Gracie but there's more.
Is the sun rising in the morning something you care for?
Yes mother it's a beautiful start of my day.
It feels so special that the sun wants to shine light and ray.
And now let's say the sun will never rise again but it will always stay up in the sky every single night and day.
No mother I guess then I would forget the beauty the sun offers every single sunset.
Mother smiled at Gracie and had to say we appreciate things more because they end one day.
This life is so beautiful because one day there will come an end to this temporary life but after we ascend.
The word mother uses is new to Gracie's ears.
She's never heard anyone say that before for she had only lived for five small years.
Ascend means to take off mother explained with a lovely smile on her face.
We leave our body and travel to another beautiful place.
It's the place where you can find mom and dad after we're no longer here and even when we're in that place we're still with you here on earth my dear.
Mother put her hand on the place Gracie's heart beats behind her chest.
But whenever it's our time to leave this earth I'll make sure my love for you has not gone unexpressed.
Will I be ready when you and dad ascend Gracie said in the end.
This is not something that is taught in school my love and so I don't think you'll feel ready when me or your dad leave towards that place up above.
Gracie almost had to cry as a tear slipped out of the corner of her eye.
The ascending of someone will always happen before you're well prepared but my sweet Gracie there's no reason to be scared.
Mom and dad will never leave you alone because we came together to this earth and that is also how we will go home.
When it's your time to ascend to the beautiful place up above know that mom and dad will be waiting for you filled with so much love.
Leaving this earth to pass away is not something you should fright because the beauty of the sun rising in the morning is only noticed because it sets at night.
So when you or dad die all you do is go away like the sunset.
Yes my sweet Gracie to see you again another morning.
That is something you should never forget.
