A little poem called Misconceptions,
Written by Mick Ricchish Don't ask of yourself to be perfect,
That is no way to be alive.
Ask yourself to find the beauty in an ordinary,
Imperfect life.
Teach yourself the joy of eating pizza,
Reading a book,
Or just looking at the trees.
And discover your anger,
Short temper,
Or sadness,
Whenever you've lost your keys.
Show yourself to be happy.
Show yourself to be sad.
Show yourself to laugh.
Show yourself what it's like to be mad.
Remember yourself to live,
And remember yourself that one day you'll die.
But most importantly,
Remember yourself to love,
Or else the beauty of this ordinary,
Imperfect life will pass you by.
Don't ask of yourself to be perfect,
That is no way to be alive.
Don't ask of yourself to be perfect,
That is no way to be mad.
