Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting up or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and allow yourself to relax.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Now allow your breath to find a comfortable pace.
Notice your breath.
Such a simple blessing we sometimes take for granted.
Let yourself drift into a deeper state of relaxation.
Release any tension or worry you may be holding.
Go of the weight of all your obligations and responsibilities.
If any thoughts wash over you,
Know that this will happen and it is normal.
Don't become attached to these thoughts.
Notice them and then send them away.
Allow them to pass by you and drift,
Like a balloon drifting off into the sky.
Allow each balloon to fly away into the beautiful horizon.
And then come back to focusing on your breath again.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to drift into a deeper state of love,
Gratitude,
And peace.
Allow yourself to get lost in this calm,
Peaceful place where everything is fluid and there is no tension.
Notice how your body feels.
See how calm and gentle your breathing is.
How relaxed you feel.
Feel gratitude for the simplicity of this feeling of peace.
Now it is time to gently reawaken your body and mind.
Gently wiggle your toes.
Shrug your shoulders.
Take another deep breath and when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Sit for a few moments and enjoy how relaxed you feel.
Allow love to guide you.
Keep an open mind and heart.
Awaken the child within you and honor that child by doing more of what brings you joy.
Remember,
You can bring yourself back to this peaceful place anytime with a few deep breaths.
