Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting up or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and allow yourself to relax.
Take a deep breath in from your nose and exhale out from your mouth.

Take a deep breath in from your nose and out from your mouth.
Now allow your breath to find a comfortable pace.
With each breath,
Let yourself drift into a deeper state of relaxation.
Relax your face muscles,
Your jaw and your neck.
Release any tension or worry you may be holding in these areas.
Relax your shoulders,
Arms and back.
Let go of the weight of all your obligations and responsibilities.
Relax your abdomen.
Release any restrictions or areas you may be holding.
Relax your legs,
Ankles and feet.
They work so hard to hold you up.
Now is the time to let them take a break and totally,
Effortlessly relax.
As you feel yourself going deeper into a relaxed state,
Begin to visualize a golden light starting at your feet.
Picture this healing light gliding up your legs,
Through your hips and abdomen.
See this light as it moves up your arms,
Back and shoulders,
Through your neck and jaw.
See this golden light completely cover your precious eyes.
And finally,
See this magnificent golden light as it bathes your head with restorative healing energy.
Imagine this beautiful light purifying every cell,
Tissue and organ in your body,
Rejuvenating every inch of fatigue and depletion,
Rehabilitating any area of injury or pain,
Melting it all away.
With each breath,
Relax into a deeper state of love,
Gratitude and healing.
Now watch as this golden energy flows out of you and bathes the entire outside of your body with love and healing.
Let this golden light surround and protect you,
Allow it to totally restore and renew you.
Now take a few deep,

Begin to bring your awareness back into the room.
