Crystals are a tool that can be used in meditation, physical healing, and emotional balancing to draw out negative energy, as well as direct positive energy. Different crystals have different properties and meanings but you can apply whatever quality to your crystal that feels relevant to you. In this guided visualisation meditation I invite you to hold your favourite crystal (or picture one) and notice the energy you feel from it, as well as asking for qualities you would like to draw from it.

Transcript

Before you begin this meditation,

Just gathering up your favorite crystal or an object that you can hold in your hand.

Taking a few moments to settle your body into a comfortable position.

This might be sitting on a chair with your feet flat on the floor or sitting cross-legged on a cushion.

Maintaining an upright posture with a neutral spine between a line from the top of your head to the base of your back.

Relaxing your shoulders and cupping your hands in your lap with your crystal just resting on your palm.

Closing down your eyes and taking a long slow breath into the nose and out through the mouth as you allow your body to settle.

Taking another long slow breath into the nose and out through the mouth as you bring your mind into this meditation.

Continuing to keep your awareness on your breathing.

Breathing at your own natural pace and rhythm in through the nose and out through the nose.

Beginning to notice the gentle movements of your body with each breath.

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly with each breath.

Expanding when you breathe in and relaxing when you breathe out.

Releasing your focus on your breathing as we begin to tune into our senses.

Holding your crystal in your hand and picturing in your mind how it looks.

Noticing the colors,

The shape,

The size of your crystal.

Noticing how it feels.

Does it feel smooth or rough,

Light or heavy,

Warm or cool?

Beginning to draw the energy from your crystal up through your fingertips and into your hands and up your arms.

Feeling its energy traveling up your arms and into your shoulders as you let them drop a little bit more.

Feeling the energy from your crystal being drawn up through your neck and throat and into the muscles in your face.

Smoothing out your forehead,

Softening around your eyes,

Relaxing your jaw.

Feeling the energy from your crystal spreading into your chest and stomach,

Filling them with its soothing energy as you breathe in and out.

Drawing the energy from your crystal into all the muscles and joints in your back,

Allowing them to soften and relax.

Feeling the energy from your crystal spreading into your pelvis,

Hips and your glutes,

Allowing them to soften and relax.

Drawing the energy from your crystal down through your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves and shins,

Through your ankles,

The tops of your feet,

The soles of your feet and out through your toes.

Your legs perhaps begin to feel a bit warmer and heavier as they draw the soothing energy from your crystal.

Sitting with your crystal,

Feeling its energy in your hands,

Just noticing if there's any qualities that you're feeling from your crystal.

Perhaps things like strength or courage,

Confidence,

Love,

Peace,

Joy.

Just noticing what you can feel coming from your crystal.

And then if you like,

Asking your crystal for anything you feel you need right now.

Perhaps you're wanting some clarity or peace,

Strength,

Confidence,

Just anything you feel you need right now.

Just asking your crystal to send this to you.

Spending the next few minutes just sitting in peaceful silence with your crystal and allowing any messages to come through,

Any words,

Thoughts,

Ideas,

As you just sit holding your crystal,

Continuing to breathe in and out for the next few minutes.

Beginning to bring your awareness back into your body,

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly with each breath.

Noticing the feel of the earth beneath you,

Noticing the sounds around you,

Giving your toes and fingers a bit of a wiggle,

Having a stretch if you need to,

Taking some long slow re-energizing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Sitting an intention to keep any feelings of peace and calm you may be feeling with you for the rest of your day or night.

Slowly opening your eyes and when you're ready,

Bringing your complete awareness back to the space around you.
