Just allowing yourself to get comfortable on the surface you're lying on or sitting on.

Feeling where the surface meets all the different parts of your body.

And now just bringing your attention to your breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Each breath drawing you closer and closer to your internal world.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And with each breath your body relaxes more and more.

And as you breathe just feeling any tension in your face muscles falling away.

Allowing relaxation to permeate your being.

Feeling as your neck relaxes.

Feeling as this relaxation arrives in your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands.

You may even feel your fingers tingle a bit or you may not.

Follow this relaxation down your chest to your stomach,

Your abdomen.

Follow it also all the way down your spine vertebra by vertebra as it travels down your back.

Your buttocks relax,

Your genitals relax.

Your thighs,

Knees,

Ankles and your feet.

You may even feel your toes tingle a bit or you may not.

And as your body relaxes deeper and deeper just continuing to breathe in and breathe out.

Allowing yourself to rest in this relaxation.

Now just sensing,

Feeling or imagining that you're in a special place.

Perhaps in nature,

A place maybe you've been to before.

Taking a moment and sensing how your feet feel on the ground here.

Does the ground feel hard or soft,

Warm or cold?

Noticing the material the ground is made from.

Perhaps soil or rock or some other material.

Just feeling if there is a breeze in the air and noting where the light's coming from.

Now just sensing,

Feeling or imagining that there's a very inviting path in front of you.

A path that will take you to a place where you can find even more relaxation and rejuvenation.

You begin to walk along the path making your way through or around this place.

And now just reaching the end of that path you may find a natural hot spring,

A pool of warm water,

A creek of streaming fresh water running over rocks or some other body of water that has special significance to you.

You may even dip a toe in or brush the water with your hand noting its temperature.

You may undress or change into a bathing suit or already be in one,

Whatever feels comfortable,

Natural and right to you.

Now just allowing yourself to step into the water,

Slowly submerging your body.

Take a moment to feel the quality of the water.

And as you're feeling and experiencing all this water has to offer you,

I'm going to stop speaking for a while,

Allowing you to rest in this body of water.

Okay.

Now just allowing all this relaxation and rejuvenation to see deeply into every muscle and bone and every cell of your body.

Knowing that any insights you've received can be brought back into every aspect of your life.

Allowing this rejuvenation to affect your physical being,

Your mental being,

Your emotional being,

And even your spiritual being.

And now just slowly standing up or lifting yourself from the water,

Perhaps drying yourself with a towel and putting your clothes on or grabbing a nearby robe or whatever feels natural,

Right and comfortable to you.

Taking all the time you need,

Knowing that you can return to this place whenever you need it.

Now we're just going to return the way you came,

Walking back along the path that brought you to this body of water.

Eventually finding yourself back in that special place that you started in.

Now just returning your focus to your breath,

Breathing in and breathing out as you find yourself back in that special place,

Perhaps in nature that you began in.

And just knowing that you can bring any insights you've just had back with you.

Bringing any feelings of rejuvenation and relaxation back into every aspect of your being and your life.

Now coming slowly back into your space,

Feeling the surface under you,

Perhaps stretching a bit and taking all the time you need,

Opening your eyes when you are ready.

Now coming slowly back into your space,

Feeling the surface under you,

Perhaps stretching a bit and taking all the time you need,

Opening your eyes when you are ready.
