This exercise can be quickly performed when you find you have lost your peace in relationship to another person. It's in the gap between what is and what should be that we suffer. This exercise will help to remove that gap so we can return to peace.

Choose someone to forgive,

And if you wish,

Close your eyes.

Imagine seeing this person in front of you.

See light around this person.

See this person smiling.

Say to the person,

I have no right to say you must be different.

Ask that the person be healed of their pain and find peace.

You might like to finish with a hug.
