Sometimes it may include excitement and joy and other times tears and sadness. They will be raw and real “liberations.” The hope is that through these videos others can be encouraged to share their stories as well, the bad and the good, as a way to heal.

Hi,

Megan here from Libra Living Wellness Limited for Libra.

The 19th video of Libra Living Liberations.

And today I wanted to talk about listening to our body.

A lot of times we have aches and pains and we're like,

Oh,

That's just a part of getting older.

I know an example for me is for a long time,

And this was years ago now.

My stomach always felt bloated and I just kind of was like,

Oh,

Okay.

I just wrote it off.

But I was like,

You know,

Going through,

You know,

And I've shared things going through my own health journey,

I realized,

Okay,

My gut health is not good.

So I started paying attention to that mar and focusing on,

On fixing that.

And now like I'm more aware when I have bloating,

Okay,

There's another issue going on or I have less bloating,

So I know I'm fixing my gut issue.

Always pay attention to our bodies.

We tend to just be like,

Oh,

Push it aside,

Keep going.

Especially like,

For example,

If we have a pain in our back or something,

We only.

Kind of focus on it when it becomes.

.

.

A huge problem.

What I want to talk about today is learning to start listening to our bodies.

At the beginning.

When something is off than normal,

Be like,

Okay,

What's going on,

Right?

Because it could be a bigger issue.

It could be nothing.

It could be,

Oh,

I tweaked it,

Lifting something incorrectly the other day.

But it's so important to,

Of course,

Being preventative and.

.

.

Our health and listening to our bodies more so that way we can you know,

Catch things.

Early on.

Um,

I think that's so important.

And I think,

Like I said,

People tend to just kind of push it aside and be like,

Oh,

It's no big deal or try to.

Just take care of it on their own instead of mentioning it to their doctors.

Hey,

There's this,

This going on,

Maybe nothing.

Um,

But say it like I did that to my doctor that day.

I was like,

I almost didn't tell her about something.

And I said,

Well,

There's this other thing.

Um,

It's not a big issue,

But I just wanted to let you know.

And she's like,

Sure,

We can check that out and make sure that it's good.

So.

.

.

You know,

I'm taking those preventative measures for myself to say,

Hey,

Okay,

Something is off in my body.

Let me kind of explore what it could be.

Maybe it's nothing,

But at least I'm taking care of it.

So my hope for all of you today is to start listening to your body,

Become aware of anything that's kind of off.

And then,

You know,

Explore what may be going on because it's so important to take care of our bodies.

And I know a lot of times maybe we don't want to because we're scared of what it could be.

But.

.

.

It's better to do it now when you catch things rather than wait for something to get worse.

So take notice of your body,

Listen to your body.

And.

Learn to to listen to.

Those awareness signs and those things that your body is trying to tell you.

Until next time.
