Grounding Yourself Meditation When you are aware of your own positive energy,

You can move to ground yourself in it.

Everyone has access to this positive,

Loving energy.

Grounding your energy often means guarding your energy.

We are beings made up of the same energy,

So oftentimes it is necessary to protect yourself from the energy of others that is not always helpful to your own.

In this meditation,

We will work to restore a sense of security and remember that peace comes from inside of you.

Sit comfortably.

Bring yourself into the room.

Establish an awareness of your body and begin that cycle of breath.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Start with the crown of your head.

I want you to imagine the crown of your head embraced in a beautiful white light.

This light represents everything pure and good about the world and your connection to the divine.

Everything is perfect in this light.

Breathe in that light.

When you are ready,

Begin to move that light down your body.

On your inhale,

Become aware of light filling each energy point in your body.

And on the exhale,

Release.

Breathe in.

The space between your eyes.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

The space in your throat.

The space in your heart.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

The space in your stomach.

Keep that light glowing.

Keep that cycle of breath.

The space between your hips.

The space between your hips.

And finally,

The light reaches your root.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

This light takes hold of the earth you are sitting on.

It grows unbreakable roots.

Every inch of your body is fastened to the ground in white light.

No one can take this from you.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

I am protected.

I am safe.

I am grounded in light.
