The intention of this guided process is to support you in completing a past memory that is holding you back from moving forward in your life.
This is a guided inner child healing process I like to call inner child rescue mission.
The objective is to restore a sense of safety through self-protection and self-compassion.
This is an opportunity to become an observer of your past to realize that you are separate from your past.
This is going to require visualization and presence.
Before we begin I want you to take a moment to connect to your higher self energy.
This is to know that you are not reliving the trauma but you are rather witnessing it from your higher self.
So take a moment and think about an area or a time in your life where you feel strong,
Confident,
Where you feel like you have a sense of efficacy and strength and feel into that energy.
It might be when you are at work and doing something that you feel confident in.
It might be times when you feel like you're loved and appreciated for who you are.
It might be when you feel confident to be authentic.
It might be when you're around your best friend or your family and just connect to this energy within yourself.
Okay let's begin.
I want you to close your eyes.
Just take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again deep breath in and out.
One more time.
Breathing in and letting go.
Just feel yourself settling into this moment.
Safe,
Present and grounded.
Now imagine you have the ability to travel back in time.
Not to relive but to observe.
You are the witness now.
The loving,
Grounded presence.
Picture yourself stepping into a time machine,
Ready to visit a past memory that still holds some intensity in your life.
One that still carries emotion.
One that's holding you back from being present and living life freely.
Notice the hum of the machine as it prepares to travel.
And now the journey begins.
The machine slows and comes to a stop.
The doors open and you step out into the past.
You are here now but you are not your younger self.
You are you.
Your current,
Wiser,
More grounded self.
Watching this memory unfold.
Take a moment and look around.
Where are you?
Indoors?
Outdoors?
Notice the details.
The colors,
The objects,
The lighting.
Are there any familiar scents in the air?
What do you hear?
Voices?
A distant sound?
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
Let this scene come to life around you.
And now,
See the moment begin to play out.
You see your younger self there.
And you see the situation happening.
The words being spoken.
The emotions rising.
But this time,
You are here.
Not to relive it,
But to complete it.
Now,
Walk forward towards your younger self.
They may look hurt,
Confused,
Or even small in this moment.
Sit beside them.
Or kneel down.
Whatever feels natural.
Let them know you're here.
Place a hand on their shoulder.
Or simply let them feel your presence.
Say to them,
I see you.
I know this was hard.
It's okay to feel what you're feeling.
You are not alone anymore.
Let them take that in.
Let them feel that they are no longer facing this alone.
And if there's someone else in this memory,
Maybe a parent,
A teacher,
An authority figure,
Turn your attention to them.
Still grounded.
Still calm.
Still your higher self.
You're not here to fight.
You are here to speak the truth.
You are here to offer protection.
For your younger self.
You are here to offer compassion.
For your younger self.
I want you to look at this person and say,
That was not okay.
You could have handled this differently.
You could have responded in a way that built trust,
Not broke it.
Seeing them take this in,
Maybe they look surprised.
Maybe they hesitate.
But you are standing strong.
And deep down,
They know that you are right.
Now,
Turn back to your younger self.
And just look into their eyes.
And just say to them,
I'm sorry you had to go through this.
There will be more hard moments ahead.
But I want you to know,
I've got your back now.
I have the tools.
I have the strength.
And I am now here to protect you.
Just let them take that in.
Feel the shift.
Their energy softening.
Their body relaxing.
Maybe they smile.
Maybe they nod.
Maybe they give you a hug.
For the first time,
They feel truly safe.
They feel protected by you.
Now watch as they go back to whatever they were supposed to be doing that day.
Playing,
Having fun.
Just being a kid.
The weight of this moment has lifted.
Now it's time to return.
Take one last look around.
Feel the change in the energy.
And then step back into the time machine.
And as it hums back to life,
Feel yourself being transported back.
Back to this moment.
Back to right here,
Right now.
Take a deep breath in.
Again,
Breathing in.
And releasing.
One more time.
Breathing in.
And now say to yourself,
Out loud or in your mind,
Whatever feels comfortable.
That moment no longer has power over me.

I am free from the weight of the past.

I am strong.
I am whole.

Feel that truth settling into your body.
Take another breath.
