Welcome to Good Energy Qigong.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your hands gently rest,
Perhaps one hand over your heart if that feels good.
Take a slow,
Easy breath in through your nose.
And a long,
Slow exhale out your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in.
Filling the chest,
The ribs,
The belly.
And exhale.
Letting your shoulders drop,
Your jaw soften,
Your eyes relax.
One more gentle breath in.
And a slow,
Spacious breath out.
Allowing your whole body to arrive.
Begin to bring your attention to the center of your chest,
The heart space.
Imagine there's a soft warm light resting there.
The glow of your hot chakra.
Notice its color.
Perhaps a clear green.
Soft rose or whatever color feels right to you.
There's no need to force anything.
Simply sensing,
Imagining,
Allowing.
With your next inhale.
Imagine you are breathing directly into your heart center.
On the exhale,
Feel that area soften and open.
Even just a little.
Inhale.
Light gently brightens in the heart.
Exhale any tightness or heaviness melts away.
Inhale drawing in kindness warmth and safety exhale releasing anything that doesn't need to be carried right now.
Now imagine,
From this glowing center in your chest,
Tiny threads of light begin to extend.
First,
A single thread of light reaches down into your belly,
Connecting the heart and core.
Another rises up to your throat,
Your brow,
The crown of your head,
A soft luminous thread weaving your whole inner being together.
Feel yourself as one continuous current of energy,
The hot at the center,
Steady and kind.
With each breath,
More threads of light gently unfurl from your heart.
Thread moves down each arm,
Through shoulders,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Palms.
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
So that your hands feel warm,
Alive,
Connected.
Now the pair of threads travels down through your ribs and hips,
Down your legs,
Through knees and ankles,
Into the soles of your feet and each of your toes.
Your entire body is gently held in this luminous web.
Woven from your own heart's light.
Supportive,
Strong,
And tender.
Now sense these hot threads expanding outward beyond your skin.
These threads of light reach the people you love.
To the ones who support you,
To those who cross your path with kindness.
You might picture them as fine golden or green strands connecting hot to hot.
Each person receiving only what is supportive,
Nothing is taken.
Just a gentle exchange of warmth,
Respect,
And care.
If there is someone you'd like to include for healing or harmony.
Imagine a gentle thread of light from your heart to theirs,
Offering them a blessing.
May you be safe.
May you be well.
May you be at ease.
Now feel the season of summer beginning to gather around you.
Sense the quality of someone.
The warmth of the sun,
Longer days,
Ripening fruit.
Open windows.
Life in full bloom.
Imagine yourself standing in a sunlit field or garden.
The air is warm but comfortable.
The light is golden and soft on your skin.
From your heart's center,
Those threads of light extend into the earth beneath you.
Rooting down into the soil.
Twining gently around deep,
Cool roots of trees and plants,
Connecting you with the living energy of the land.
Each inhale,
Draw up the vitality of Samadhi through those roots,
Up into your feet,
Your legs,
Your heart.
With each exhale,
Let your hot light flow back down into the earth.
A mutual exchange of warmth and gratitude.
You are standing at the threshold of summer and your heart is the doorway.
Now feel above you the bright summer sun.
From that sun.
A beam of clear,
Radiant light pours down to the top of your head.
Down your spine and into your heart.
Your hat is now receiving light from above and below.
From the sun and from the earth.
And weaving it together through all those luminous threads.
I only offer this intention to your heart.
As I step into the season of summer,
May my heart be open and protected.
May I welcome joy and aliveness.
May I honor my own energy.
And choose what truly nourishes me.
Let those words of your own or your own version of them echo gently in your chest.
For the next few breaths,
Simply rest in this feeling.
At glowing.
Of light within your body.
Friends of light connecting you with others.
Threads of light,
Rooted in the earth,
Reaching up to summer sky.
Notice the quality of your energy now.
Perhaps a little lighter.
A little warmer,
Or simply more present.
Know that you can return to this hot light at any time.
All it takes is a breath into the center of your chest and a quiet remembering of your own inner glow.
Begin to gently bring awareness back to your physical body.
Notice the surface supporting you.
The weight of your body.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Softly roll your shoulders.
Take a deep breath in.
I out.
If your eyes have been closed.
You might blink them open when you're ready,
Letting in the light slowly.
Take a final deep nourishing breath into your heart.
You're missing the rise.
Exhale with a soft sigh noticing the fall.
You have stepped into the energy of summer with your hat lit,
Your threads of light woven.
And your whole being gently aligned with warmth.
Growth.
Enjoy.
