Welcome to this practice on how to be here now.

So often in life,

We have racing thoughts,

Running to-do lists,

Lots of things that are pulling us in a million directions,

And it can feel so hard to just be here now.

Just be where you are.

That sometimes feels like.

Some kind of simple statement that is really hard to actually live.

And so I want to give you some tips and tools on how you can truly be here now.

The first and easiest way that you can do that is going to your breath.

Bringing all of your attention,

All of your awareness,

All of your focus onto your breath.

Notice.

What does my breath feel like right now?

Because here's the deal,

My friend,

You can only breathe in the present,

Not in the past,

Not in the future.

And so the present creates an incredible anchor for yourself in your breath.

Once you have completed that connection with your breath,

Start to move into your other sensations.

What do you smell in this moment?

What do you see?

What can you hear?

Touch.

Maybe even taste.

When you are feeling like your thoughts are racing all over the place.

Bring yourself back to this moment,

Starting your breath and then going into your other sensations.

It'll really help you in slowing down,

Tuning in and noticing what is right here for you right now.

You got this.
