Water is the element of power.
From babbling brooks to deadly tsunamis,
Water has the power to create life or take it away.
Water is a requirement for your existence.
Since you are made of about 99% water,
When you honor water you honor the qualities of water in yourself.
Pretty cool right?
Connecting with water is also a great way to activate the values of unity with nature and spirituality.
So here's a way to supercharge your relationship to water and activate the values of unity with nature and spiritual life with a sacred water ceremony practice.
As always,
I invite you to make it your own.
Water Ceremony Ritual Step 1.
Decide on location.
Where would you like to commune with water?
Personally,
I love to go out into nature.
I've done ceremonies with ponds,
Lakes,
Streams,
Oceans,
And rivers.
Each is unique and beautiful to gain wisdom from.
Meet yourself where you are,
Not where you want to be.
Step 2.
Reflect.
What do you want to release that's taking your power from you?
Where would you like to step into your power?
You can simply reflect on this in your mind while you sit by the water or you can write it down in a journal.
Even better yet,
You can write it on a water-soluble paper that instantly degrades when hits the water.
Step 3.
Connect.
Find something in nature,
Like a fallen leaf or twig.
Give that item the full meaning of your reflection on what's taking your power and where you're going to regain it.
If you have biodegradable paper with your reflection,
Use that here.
Step 4.
Release.
With appreciation in your heart,
Let go of whatever you choose from Step 3 into the water.
Observe it as it becomes a part of the water you release it into.
Step 5.
Look and listen.
Get still and listen to the sound of the water.
What are the loudest and softest noises that you can hear?
Then look at its qualities.
What can you see that makes water so very special?
How do those qualities exist within you?
Slow down and tune in to what the water has to teach you.
Step 6.
Share gratitude.
Thank the water for allowing you to be in ceremony together.
For me,
That looks like a silent bow with my hands in prayer position over my heart or third eye.
Have gratitude for the wisdom you gained and what you released back into nature.
Incorporating water rituals into your life can be a powerful way to reconnect with nature.
Reflect on your journey and release what no longer serves you.
Remember to approach it with an open heart and mind,
Allowing yourself to immerse in the experience fully.
Trust that the water holds wisdom and healing energy to support you along the way.
If you feel called to explore this transformative practice further,
I invite you to incorporate into a self-care routine and witness its profound impact on your life.
Let the power of water guide you on your journey to alignment.
