The full-buck moon rose bold and bright,
Bathing the earth in silver light.
She watched the buck stand calm and still,
A quiet strength,
An iron will.
His antlers reach towards endless skies,
A living lesson to her eyes.
For every year,
Without complaint,
He sheds his crown,
Though others faint.
Not out of fear,
Not from defeat,
But trusting life will make him complete.
The moon then whispered,
Soft and slow.
Nothing can blossom that won't let go.
The trees release their autumn leaves.
The rivers flow.
The ocean breathes.
The snake lets go of weathered skin.
To welcome all that's deep within.
Yet somehow she had clung so tight to yesterday with all her might.
Old dreams,
Old stories,
Old fears she'd known,
Believing they were all her own.
She feared that if she dared release,
She'd lose herself instead of peace.
The buck looked up as if to say,
This is simply nature's way.
What leaves your life is not your end,
It makes more room for you to mend.
The strength you seek is not behind.
It's patiently becoming inside.
She smiled beneath the glowing moon,
Knowing change arrives too soon.
Until one day you finally see,
It brings you home to who you'll be.
So she surrendered fear that night and chose to trust instead of fight.
She laid her burdens on the ground where hope and faith became unbound.
The moon looked down with gentle grace,
Its light upon her softened face.
She breathed the truth she'd always known.
No soul was ever meant to outgrow.
For every ending clears the way to welcome in a brighter day.
And like the buck beneath the sky,
She chose not to ask questions why.
She simply trusted,
Heart set free.
Meant to be.
