Invest a moment to get comfortable in your body.

Maybe you want to roll your neck,

Your wrists,

Your ankles.

And when you feel ready,

You can gaze down or close your eyes.

Making a choice if you want to have your palms facing up to bring in energy or your palms facing down to ground your energy.

And now bringing your awareness to your breath.

Breathing in and out through your nose,

Sending your breath down to your belly.

Feeling your belly expand and contract,

Just slowing down into this moment.

Feel your breath softening your body,

Opening your heart and clearing your mind.

And from this place of clarity and groundedness,

I invite you now to reflect on a time when it's been easy to be critical.

A place that you'd like to rewire so that you can have more praise than critique.

Think.

Bring to mind someone who has positively impacted your life.

Someone you appreciate.

See them clearly.

Where were you?

What did they do or say that made a difference?

Notice how their actions made you feel.

Did they uplift you,

Support you,

Encourage you?

How might you honor them today?

What qualities have they amplified in you?

And how might you appreciate yourself in the same energy you appreciate this other person?

Now,

Imagine yourself expressing this appreciation.

Maybe with words,

Maybe with an action,

Maybe by simply carrying forward the kindness they showed you.

See how this act of praise and recognition strengthens your connection,

Deepens trust,

And creates more of what you value.

On your next in-breath,

You can bring your hand to your heart space and silently repeat to yourself,

I praise more than I criticize.

Feel this truth settling within you,

Inspiring you to lead with encouragement,

To see the good,

And to acknowledge what matters.

What a gift.

Now,

Take one final deep breath in,

Anchoring into gratitude and kindness,

And exhale,

Feeling lighter,

Warmer,

And ready to spread appreciation.

When you're complete,

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes and flutter your eyes open,

Carrying the sense of recognition and positivity into your day.

Your words have power.

Let them uplift.
