Welcome,

This is your host,

Marianne Pack,

Spiritual medium,

Author,

And joyologist.

This reading is entitled,

Your Buffet of Thoughts.

When we eat at a buffet,

There is a myriad of foods from which we can choose.

We may love many of the delicious foods from which to choose,

Yet there will inevitably be foods present that we don't like and would not choose.

Do we get upset that there are foods on the buffet that we don't like?

Do we demand the host to remove these unwanted foods?

No!

We simply don't choose the foods that we don't like or want.

We don't put those food choices on our plates.

We pass over them and move on to the foods we love.

We realize others may love the foods that we don't like,

And we allow others to choose the foods they desire to eat.

We don't get mad at them or make ugly faces at them for choosing their food selections.

It's the same with our buffet of thoughts.

There are many thoughts that we love to think about.

Things that bring us joy and pleasure.

Thoughts that comfort and nurture our souls.

Thoughts of people,

Places,

Events,

Or things that we appreciate.

Thoughts of gratitude.

There are also thoughts that create fear and worry in us.

Thoughts that bring doubt and cause us to second-guess ourselves.

Thoughts of criticism and judgment toward ourselves and others.

Thoughts about people,

Places,

Events,

And things that bring up feelings of guilt or shame.

When we approach our buffet of thoughts,

Maybe we should begin choosing our thoughts like we choose food from a buffet.

Peruse our buffet of thoughts and pick out only the ones that bring us pleasure and delight.

We don't fight against the foods on the buffet that we don't like.

We simply don't choose them.

Maybe it's time to do the same with our buffet of thoughts.

Stop fighting against the thoughts that we don't like or want.

Stop beating up on ourselves for the fact that they show up as available for us to choose or not.

Stop making ourselves wrong for having them and simply allow ourselves not to choose them.

Let's look through our buffet of thoughts and choose only the ones that feel good.

And allow others to choose the thoughts they want to think,

Whether or not we would choose them,

Each to his or her own.

When we sit down to eat together,

We don't worry that their food choices that we don't like will jump onto our plates.

They're not going to force us to eat their food choices,

Nor will their thought choices jump into our thoughts when we visit with folks.

We can observe that they may be thinking things we don't want to think about and simply let it go.

They are not forcing us to think about what they are thinking.

No one can think one thought for you,

Nor can you think one thought for anyone else.

We all have the choice and power to think our own thoughts.

Now,

If you allow their thoughts to influence your thoughts,

Then that's up to you.

That's your choice.

You have now chosen to allow their thoughts to affect your thoughts.

But it's always your choice to think your own thoughts.

Isn't it lovely when we sit down together to feast on our buffet of thoughts and we have each chosen thoughts that feel good to us and delight our senses and imaginations?

As we share in the delight of each other's thoughts,

It's almost tasting each other's food selections from a buffet.

We taste the foods and get to decide if we like them or not.

We share delicious thoughts that make us each feel good and it reinforces and expands each one's pleasure.

But we always get to choose if we will taste that thought again or not.

Our buffet of thoughts contain thoughts we love and thoughts we don't like at all.

These are simply contrasting thoughts and there will always and forever be contrasting thoughts available to us.

It's what we do with the contrasting thoughts that matter.

We could pick the thought that doesn't feel very good and we could pick the thought that does feel good.

We need contrasting thoughts so we know what we don't want and obviously what we do want.

We can only decide what we do want by comparing it to what we don't want.

This beautiful system works perfectly,

Showing us unwanted and wanted at the same time.

It's a beautiful opportunity to choose.

That's the opportunity to use our free will.

So which thoughts will you choose from your buffet of thoughts?

The ones that feel good and satisfy your soul?

Or the thoughts that feel bad and suck the life out of you?

The more you choose the thoughts that feel good,

The more your mind will rewire and look for more thoughts that feel good and delight your soul.

Sure,

It takes practice,

As it does with any work of transformation.

Don't get frustrated along the way when you're making your decisions of what to think.

Just don't be compelled to practice those unwanted thoughts in your mind.

Choose better.

Make wiser decisions about what you choose from your buffet of thoughts on the basis of how each thought feels.

Because our emotions tell on our thoughts every single time.

Every thought feels good or it feels bad.

We can always know if a thought will be for our highest good and of most benefit by the way it feels so good.

If a thought feels good,

Put it on the plate of your mind and enjoy it with sheer delight.

And don't worry about the bad feeling thoughts you decided not to choose.

They will eventually show up less often as you stop giving your attention to them.

The universe notices and feels the energy frequency of the thoughts you choose to think.

The more you think in a certain way,

The universe serves up more for you to choose from.

But those pesky thoughts you don't want or don't choose,

The universe will notice that you haven't chosen them in a while and will simply stop sending them to you because it has nothing to match with that vibrational frequency.

As you choose better feeling thoughts over and over,

Your selection of buffet thought items becomes more and more pleasing from which you can choose.

Have fun with your buffet of thoughts.

Enjoy picking and choosing just the right thoughts that feel satisfying to your soul.

Thoughts that feel expansive and evolutionary.

To your joyous buffet of thoughts,

Big hugs,

Marianne.
